Vasundhara Raje sworn-in as Rajasthan CM

Vasundhara Raje sworn in as chief minister (CM) of Rajasthan for the second term after a gap of 5 year. 60-year old Vasundhara Raje was administered the oath of office and secrecy by governor Margaret Alva during a grand swearing-in ceremony at Jaipur, where tight security arrangements were put in place. 
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by BJP president Rajnath Singh, senior party leader LK Advani, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, among others. The BJP registered a thumping victory by winning 162 of the 200 seats, highest ever win by any political party in the history of Rajasthan, while the Congress managed to win 21 Assembly seats. Rest of the seats went to RJP, BSP and an Independent candidates.
