Pink city turned red, Murder incidents shocked capital

Pink city turned red in last 24 hr. when 5 murder shocked the capital. In two cases, the bodies had been mutilated and were not recognized. In the first case a woman was found near Shivar turn under Bagaru police station area on Wednesday evening. Some villagers saw a sack lying near the Shivar turn, and alerted by the stench, informed police. Body is not in condition to identify and police are verifying the missing reports filed in various police stations in the district. In other case the body of a 40-year-old woman, identified as Geeta Sindhi, was found in Sector-22 of Pratap Nagar area on Thursday morning. Two more murder cases registered in capital region.
In recent incident a local businessman working for government offices was found murdered in a flat of Jyoti Nagar area. The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Mangal (40). Business rivalry could be the cause of death, the police said adding the victim's head bears signs of hammering.

CP Joshi, MP from Bhilwara, Rajasthan got Cabinet seat for Rajasthan, he took oath at Rashtrapati Bhawan with 18 other cabinet ministers at New Delhi. Total 19 Minister from UPA takes oath today.

DMK revert back to Congress

DMK Finally join the UPA Cabinet. After being involved in days of negotiations over the allotment of ministerial berths in the next UPA Govt, Congress-DMK talks broke down in New Delhi on Thursday. DMK’s senior leader TR Balu came out of the Cong ‘war room’ after day long negotiations with top Cong leaders and announced to the waiting media that DMK has decided to offer support to the Cong from outside. According to sources, Cong' refusal to hand over the crucial Telecom and infrastructure related portfolios to the DMK was the stumbling block.
Earlier, stuck by 'berth' pangs, the Congress was grappling with other allies like Trinamool Congress who were doing hard negotiations to get plum portfolios as Manmohan Singh gets ready to be sworn in on Friday for a second consecutive term as Prime Minister. On a day of conflicting reports, the DMK with 18 MPs, the third largest constituent in the UPA coalition, was said to be demanding three Cabinet portfolios, two Ministers of State with independent charge and two at the Ministers of State level. Two DMK join cabinet of congress today after congress agree on 7 cabinet seat for DMK.

Lucy Gordon, actress of Spiderman 3 movie commit suicide

British actress Lucy Gordon, who appeared in "Spider-man 3" has committed suicide in her Paris apartment. Gordon took her own life on Wednesday, just two days before her 29th birthday. No other details were provided. Although there is no suspicion of foul place, police are questioning the 28-year-old's boyfriend about the night leading up to her death. According to police, neighbors overheard the British actress and her boyfriend arguing on Tuesday night. Gordon's beau, whose name has not been released, told police he went to bed and woke up to find Gordon hanging from the ceiling of their apartment in Paris, reports the Daily Mail. He then ran downstairs to a local shop owner, yelling, "Call the police – my friend has hung herself." The former Cover Girl model had recently suffered the loss of a close friend, also to suicide, and her boyfriend told police Gordon was seriously troubled by the death.
Since her debut in the 2001 movie Perfume, Gordon appeared in about a dozen films, including French director Cedric Klapisch's The Russian Dolls, American filmmaker John Krasinski's Brief Interviews with Hideous Men and Spiderman 3. She had just finished making a bio-pic about the late French singer Serge Gainsbourg in which she portrayed Gainsbourg's ex-companion Jane Birkin. The film is due to be released next year.

Five Infosys trainee die in raod accident

Five employees of Infosys Technologies were killed in a road accident in Karnataka’s Belgaum district Thursday. The incident took place after the driver lost control over the KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) Airavatha bus carrying 43 Infosys employees at Hukkeri Taluka in Belgaum, northern Karnataka, 480 km from Bangalore.
Three died on the spot, two were declared brought dead in the hospital. The five deceased are yet to be identified. They are in the age group of 22-24 years,”. He said the bus turned turtle and 22 passengers sustained serious injuries. All the passengers are currently undergoing treatment at K.L.E. hospital in Belgaum. The Infosys employees, based in Pune, were returning from Mysore after attending a training course.

Naveen Patnauk sworn in as Orissa CM

Naveen Patnaik has been sworn in as Orissa Chief Minister for the third consecutive term, heading a 21-member ministry of BJD, the first ever regional party to come to power on its own in the state. Patnaik, 62, who was administered the oath of office by Governor M C Bhandare, has retained six from the outgoing Cabinet and brought in two new faces while three others have been earlier ministers in his government.
BJD, which parted ways with BJP-led NDA in March this year abruptly ending its 11-year alliance, went it alone in both the parliamentary and assembly elections and steered the party to a landslide win bagging 103 of the 147 assembly seats and 14 of the 21 Lok Sabha seats.

Manish Pandey becomes first Indian to Score century in IPL History
