India is gaining more prominence in the world's BPO map. Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Nagpur are among 31 emerging cities globally for the information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, says a latest report by KPMG, the global accounting firm.
The report, 'Exploring Global Frontiers- the new Emerging Destinations' said, as existing favourite locations for shared services and outsourcing have started to become saturated, newer cities are emerging, offering new and improved incentive packages and talent, that are better geared for the IT industry.
Its now time when CM Ashok Gehlot should make a decision and do something like Narendra Modi for the development of IT Industry in Rajasthan and open the projects that was announced by him in 2000 for the development of IT Parks in Jaipur.
