Jagannath Pahadia former chief Minister of Rajasthan

Jagannath Pahadia was born on 15 January 1932 was Chief Minister of Indian state of Rajasthan from 6 June 1980 to 13 July 1981. He is a leader of Indian National Congress party. He was a junior level Minister in government of India for many years. He represented Bayana constituency in Lok Sabha. His wife Shanti was also a member of Lok Sabha.
Jagannath Pahadia was the Congress candidate for Weir Assembly Constituency (Bharatpur District) 2003 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Elections. The count of total votes polled for Weir Assembly constituency in 2003 Rajasthan Elections was 87263.
Out of these, Jagannath Pahadia of Congress secured 36475 votes to win the seat, defeating the nearest rival Gangaram of BJP by a margin of 8910 votes.
