The senior Congress leader and former Minister, Govind Singh Gujjar,passed away in New Delhi. He was cremated at his home at Nasirabad in Ajmer. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, Puducherry chief minister V Vaidyalingam, ministers and other political leaders were there.Govind singh gurjar is famous as "Baba" in gurjar community and Nasirabad region in ajmer, thousand of villagers gather to pay respect to him. Gujjar was sworn-in as the 19th Lt Governor of Puducherry last year. He entered politics in 1972 and was elected to Rajasthan assembly six times from Nasirabad. He was a cabinet minister in Hardev Joshi, Shiv Charan Mathur and Ashok Gehlot ministries. Gujjar was 78 year old.
