Temperature above 45 degree C, More than 20 dead in Orissa

Temperature in Northern India cross the 40-degree mark in several states including rajasthan,Delhi, Haryana, MP and orissa. Orissa reported 23 suspected sunstroke deaths so far this summer. Temperatures showed an upward trend in most parts of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
The heat wave was at its most severe in Orissa, where at least 23 people died of suspected sunstroke this season. However, only one has been confirmed as a heat-related death. In orissa temerature is around 44 degree celcius. In the northern plains, Barmer was hottest with 46 degree C, Hisar 42 degree C, while 40 degree C in Karnal, Ludhiana. Delhiites get 41.6 degree Celsius.
