12 District declared critical during polling at rajasthan

Rajasthan administration and Police is gearup to conduct fair election in rajasthan as more than 40% of the booths being declared ‘critical’. 12 districts have possibility of violence, so main task for securty personnels are to avoid possible clash and voilance during polling on May 7. At least one policeman will be deputed at every polling booth. At sensitive booths, a constable of CPF and a home guard will be there with a policeman. Highly sensitive booths will have four armed paramilitary personnel for security. Govt. have assigned around 90000 security personnels from various post in rajasthan to complete election peacefully.
As per intelligence inputs election may witness violence in at least 12 districts including Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Bharatpur, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Jhalawar, Jaipur Rural, Baran and Udaipur. The reasons for possible violence in these districts could be the arch rivalry between Meena and Gujjar communities, recent incidents of communal violence, business rivalries among contestants and their supporters among other things.
