Rajasthan royals Kamran khan under scanner for bowling action

The Technical Committee of the Indian Premier League recommended a two-week rehabilitation for Rajasthan Royals bowler Kamran Khan who has been reported for a suspect bowling action. The IPL Technical Committee after review the left-arm pacer's action after which they decided to recommend a two-week rehabilitation for the exciting youngster. "Based on an examination of the match footage obtained, the Technical Committee have recommended a two-week rehabilitation for Kamran Khan," the IPL authorities said in a statement.
The Technical Committee meeting was attended by former India captains Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri besides IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi who were joined via a conference call by Anurag Thakur and MAK Pataudi from India. Kamran was reported by on-field umpires Rudi Koertzen and Gary Baxter after the Royals' match against Chennai Super Kings at the Centurion in Pretoria on Thursday. After the match was over, footage was obtained and examined by all the three umpires including TV umpire Amish Saheba and it was decided that further action was necessary under the Laws of Cricket section 24/3 that governs the game. His actions seems somewhat odd so he may face ban if action is not revised as per international rules.
