Champions League is announced today, it will be held from 8th to 23rd October. There will be total 12 teams in the inaugural edition. The IPL finalists Hyderabad Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Bangalore, along with Delhi Daredevils, will feature in the inaugural Champions League to be played in India from October 8 to 23 this year. The Champions League will also see an expansion of the number of particpating teams this year which has risen from eight to 12. The three founder members of the Champions League - BCCI, Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia - announced here today that 12 teams would contest the inaugural edition of Twenty20 tournament and will also see domestic Twenty20 winners of West Indies, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
