Jaipur Police arrested caller who made fake bomb hoax calls

Jaipur police has finally arrested the caller who made four bomb hoax calls to the police on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Azam Khan (22), a resident of the Idgah slum area, made these calls for fun and to spread panic in the area. The police had earlier arrested one Syed Imran Ali, but during his interrogation it was evident that he was not directly involved in these hoax calls. Revelations made by him led to Azam's arrest, who is a gem stone worker. Azam, after making these calls, allegedly bragged about spreading panic in the city among some of his fellow workers after which he came under the scanner.
"He wanted to create communal tension and resentment against the government in the area," Naruka claimed. The police said that Azam Khan in the past had been arrested for petty crimes, including vehicle theft, under Kotwali, Shastri Nagar and Bhatta Basti police station areas. The police have registered a case against him with Ramganj police station Jaipur.
