Ajmer, known as the education city of rajasthan finally gets World Class University. It was long pending decision to allot three main education institutes:
1. World Class University Rajasthan for which Ajmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur were in race.
2. IIM Rajasthan for which Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur were in race.
3. IIT Rajasthan for which Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur were in race.
So finally Name is announced and Ajmer get World Class University.

World Class university will be established in Ajmer at Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway as per the recent sources. The possible place is a small village Bandhar-sindhari 15 Km from Kishangarh on the National Highway NO-8. World class university will start functioning from year 2010 as per plan from Govt. College Kishangarh Campus.
