Taking one more step towards Metro Project in Jaipur, today Govt started Survey for one of Possible Metro route in Jaipur. Survey was started from Choti Chopad, where survey was done regarding traffic and other obstacles during metro construction. Urban development department, which has shown a renewed interest in the project has asked the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) to prepare a feasibility study. The corporation has outsourced the survey work to a US-based consultancy volver smith ltd. A two-member team from a US-based infrastructure and transport consultancy company visited the busy areas of the walled city to observe the traffic trends and marked points, where observation activities will start from Thursday. This survey will take total 4 month duration and then metro work will be started based on survey feedback. So hope jaipur Metro work will be soon started at Jaipur.

Shridharanji for the pioneer project for which residents of jaipur are eagerly waiting. Certainly it will resolve the pollution problem of the pink city and reduce the wastage of time in day today transporation. proect will be a milestone for whole of Rajasthan.. thanks again...

As always prevention is better than cure so if today we prepare ourselves for the coming population of jaipur then we are heading towards a better tomorrow although i completely agree that there is no need of metro in jaipur and it will not be required for the next 10 years but we are working for a better tomorrow.:-)
