Oil wells in rajasthan are completed and it was expected that production of crude oil will be started in 1-2 Month but problems are not following this project on each step. Now Rajasthan Govt demands VAT instead of CST Tax on Oil production in Rajasthan by two major oil explorer ONGC and Cairn India. It is expected that agreement Crude Oil Sell Agreement(COSA) between Cairns India and its partner companies may be delayed.
From Production point of view all the preparation are completed such as railway track and platform are completed and once getting permission from center and State government. It is expected that govt. will get crores of Tax from Oil production but they are planning to get VAT so that they will get 4% Tax while using CST govt will get 2% Tax. This issue was also raised during BJP Govt. now in center and state ,we have same government so this issue can be resolved easily with a talk.
