What is Rajasthan ?

What is Rajasthan? Strange question right! Rajasthan the word which means place of raja’s and maharaja. But there is no more any king and kingdoms in Rajasthan but still it means a lot to people of Rajasthan as now every people of Rajasthan is king with royalty in their thought and behavior.
In ancient time there were kingdoms from different “rajwans” such as Rajput rulers at Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur, Jat Rulers at Bharatpur and Dholpur and Muslim rulers at Ajmer and Bundi. With the scent of freedom in 1947, Rajasthan changes a lot and now days a place known for its colors among people and its culture. A place with lot of diversity in climate, culture, language and people but still they are unique and live with glory of word “Rajasthani” but first Indian, who are ready to die for country. Jat Regiment, Rajputana Rifles are some of proud for the names of state where many people serve the nation.
Best thing I personally like about Rajasthan is people and the scent which Rajasthan soil contains. Rajasthan is known as tourist paradises which have forts, wild life, pilgrims and my favorite “Sand dunes” – A place where you never have need of yoga and any spirituality as these sand dunes are far ahead of these things. It is hard to describe the rajasthan even in a book but for rajasthan people “Rajasthani” word can describe all and for businessman it is first choice because of its people and government support. Rajasthan welcomes people from different parts of nation with a spirit of “Padharo Mhare desh” and Tourists are welcomes with spirits of “Atithi devo bhav”. Once someone visit rajasthan he becomes part of this colorful state that’s why it is called “Rangilo rajasthan”. Now lets enjoy rajasthani Food !!!
