2 Hour Relaxation in Curfew at Bhilwara

Police today provided two-hour relaxation during the indefinite curfew, which was imposed in parts of old city here on Tuesday following widespread violence that erupted during the Muharram procession. A Police spokesman said the curfew was relaxed for two hours between 0900 and 1100 hrs during which the people went out to the nearby markets and purchased essentials like milk and vegetables. The situation was peaceful as no untoward incident was reported from anywhere, the spokesman added. The parts of old town around Gul Mandi, Sarafa Bazar and Sanganeri Gate witnessed violence on Monday and Tuesday in the aftermath of clashes during the Muharrum procession.
