Indian shooter added 5 Gold Medal

Indian shooter added five gold, three silver and a bronze to their swelling medal kitty to rule the roost at the 11th South Asian Games in Dhaka on Wednesday. The Indian women shooters dominated the 25 metre pistol event winning all the medals in the individual event. Sonia Rai won the gold while the silver went to Divya Singh. Sushma Singh won the bronze. The three shooters also picked up the Gold for the team event in the same category.
In the fifty metre rifle prone event, Kuheli Gangulee won the gold while team mate Ruby Garg got the silver in the individual event. The two shooters along with Hema Khatri Chetri won the the gold in the team event also. In the shooting competition for men, Imran Hasan Khan won the gold in the 10 metre air rifle individual event. The Indian men's team could only manage a silver for the team with Bangladesh winning the gold. Hope this performance will be continue till commonwealth games 2010 where india is hosting this game this year at delhi. India some medal in shooting, boxing and other sports where india shine in last 5 year.
