Colour code for city buses in Jaipur

Soon buses in Pink City will have colours according to to their routes. The Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCSTL), has selected 10 colours for 10 routes. The new service will be in operation from Thursday. The JCTSL at present operates 110 buses on nearly eight routes of the Rajasthan Roadways. These routes will now be part of the 10 new routes of the Jaipur Bus in which the previously proposed routes of BRTS will also be included. The length of the routes covered by the new service will be 237 km which will be 53 km more than the existing coverage. “The successful operation of buses over the exiting routes has made us confident to expand the coverage,” said Priti Mathur, deputy commissioner BRTS.
