Student Unions election in Rajasthan on 25 August

Rajasthan Govt finally announce the date of University Student Unions election in Rajasthan after 6 years of ban imposed by HC. Student Unions election in Rajasthan will be held on 25 August 2010 while election process will starts from 16 August 2010.

Election will be held as per guidelines of lingdoh committee. Chief Minister Ashok gehlot approve the decision of conduction student union election in various universities as per Lingdoh Committee. Student union election was Ban by High court from 2004-2005 in rajasthan. Total 24 Govternment, 8 Deemed and 16 private universities can conduct election from next session 2010-2011. to conduct election was one of election agenda by Gehlot government during election.
