Pawan Godara elected Youth Congress president second time

Pawan Godara has been elected president of the Rajasthan unit Youth Congress here last evening. The election for the new state youth president were held yesterday in which state delegates cast their votes. Mr Godara with 730 votes was the top scorer to secure the post of the president. He was holding the post presently. Second top scorer Rajpal Sharma (363 votes) will be the vice-president and Balendu Singh Shekhawat (357 votes), the third highest scorer, will be state general secretary.
Seven more general secretaries were also chosen on the basis of their vote score. The state-level election through direct ballot in the organisation were held for the first time and were part of party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's bid to infuse new blood in the youth wing.
