Rajasthan beat UP in T20 Match

A strokeful half-century by Dishant Yagnik (54) and some suffocating bowling by Afroz Khan helped Rajasthan beat Uttar Pradesh by 16 runs in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Central Zone Twenty20 League match here today. Put in to bat, Rajasthan posted 155 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs and then restricted Uttar Pradesh to 139 for six to post their second successive victory in the tournament. For Rajasthan, Vineet Saxena, extending good support to Yagnik, scored an unbeaten 39 to help the side post a good target. For UP, Ravikant Shukla scored 35, but no other batsmen could contribute much. Afroz scalped three wickets by giving away just 28 runs, while pacer Pankaj Singh took one for 14.
