Rajasthan Govt remove stamp papers compulsion for certificates

The Rajasthan Government has done away the compulsion of non judicial stamp papers for filing applications for issuance of various sort of certificates and documents. As per the the notification issued to this effect applicants seeking birth, marriage or death certificates, domicile certificate or caste certificates and some other such documents will now not needed to buy stamp papers. ''They can now apply for these certificates without stamp papers'', an official spokesman said here today. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who also holds the Finance portfolio, had announced the government's decision to exempt compulsion of stamp papers for the above purpose.
