United Progressive Alliance (UPA) the ruling coalition parties heading the government of India fail on thier own Aam aadmi concept. NDA, CPM and other opposition parties demanded a thorough probe into the scams as well as a statement from the government, arguing that it was a matter of great concern that so many “major scams’’ had taken place in the past three-four years. Recent scams and controversy like Commonwealth Games 2010, Adarsh Society Scam and 2G Spectrum allocation by Telecom Minister A. Raja to private telecom operators are recent exmaples where Government is looking involved to benefits Private operators, Companies and politicians by various means, so where is Aam Aadmi now, Where is Rural India ? these are some of question that UPA must answer to them self.
CWG Scam: CWG was in news for its controversy ans financial scam under kalmadi's leadership than fantistic performance by indian sportman who wins more than 100 medals this CWG Games. BJP president Nitin Gadkari said a detailed probe should be held by a JPC to "uncover the involvement of the political leadership". Gadkari claimed that 'benami' financial deals took place in CWG projects through the Mauritius route. He said that out of the Rs 70,000 crore spent on the Games, only Rs 350 crore were spent on Indian sportspersons.
Adarsh Society: The 30-storey apartment, housing many top level defence officials, was built on a disputed army land at Colaba and the flats meant for the families of the Kargil martyrs were alloted to top defence officials and kins of politicians.
2G Spectrum Scam: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Wednesday said it has submitted to the government the report on the 2G spectrum allotment that is presumed to have caused a revenue loss of up to Rs 1.76 lakh crore. While A Raja, congress and DMK deny resignation of A.Raja in whole scam.
Aam Aadmi: Inflation at record high and increasing exponentially since last five years which makes daily needs out of reach for aam aadmi. MPs, MLA and other bureaucrats have seen huge hikes recently but for workers under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA), wages have remained static ever since the scheme was launched five years ago, So where is aam aadmi in governments portfolio. Govt is in news for Scams, Disinvestment of Public Sector Unions(PSU)SUs for money, farmers suicides, increasing slums ... is not aad aadmi expect for govt.
