Zakir Hussain to perform in Jodhpur on Jan 15 Renowned Tabla player, Ustad Zakir Hussain, will be awarded with the Ustad Gulab Khan Achievement Award at the Mehrangarh situated Zanana Dyodhi on January 15. He will also give an hour long performance at the event. Zakir Hussain will be accompanied by the famous Sarangi exponent, Sabir Khan and his father, Ustad Sultan Khan. The chief guest of the event will be the erstwhile ruler of Jodhpur, Gaj Singh. This information was given to the media by the organizer of the event at a press conference on Sunday.
