Rajasthan Government to provide one lakh jobs

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said his government would recruit one lakh youth this year. Speaking at a congregation after unveiling statue of martyr Vijendra Singh in Jakhrana village near Behror in Alwar district, Mr Gehlot said ''this includes appointment of 50,000 teachers''. The Chief Minister said the state government was making sincere efforts for boosting pace of development in the state. He said a mega project of Delhi-Mumbai Freight Corridor (DMFC)- being launched by the UPA government at the Centre, would revolutionise the entire development scenario in the state. He said around 40 per cent of DMFC would pass through Rajasthan and the areas along the corridor would obviously transform into hubs of development.
