Rajasthan Government has transferred 14 IAS officers and one senior Rajasthan Administrative Service(RAS) officer. The transfers orders issued late last night effects change of Divisional Commissioners in Jodhpur and Jaipur and collectors in three districts of Ganganagar, Jhunjhunu and Sikar. Mr Sudarshan Sethi, who in his capacity as Divisional Commissioner Jodhpur was holding inquiry into the recent hooch tragedy in Jodhpur and adjoining Pali districts, has been removed from the post to work Pincipal Secretary in Women and Child Development Department in Jaipur. Ramesh Kumar Jain has substituted Mr Sethi as Divisional Commissioner.
Likewise, Mr Umaro Salodiya has been made Divisional Commissioner in Jaipur, Mr RP Jain who was removed from this post a month ago and kept awaiting posting orders, following a minor controversy, has been posted as Principal Secretary Administrative Reforms, Coordination and Redressal of Public Grievances. Tapesh Pawar had been made Principal Secretary Cooperatives.
