The state's forts and palaces are all set for the shooting of two big Hollywood films, starting April. If Tom Cruise is arriving for the shooting of his film Mission Impossible 4, Mexican beauty Salma Hayek will be coming for the shooting of The Driver. Though everything related to the shootings is kept under the wraps, reliable sources close to the shooting arrangements of the films told TOI on Sunday that Salma Hayek along with Bollywood's bad man Gulshan Grover will visit Bikaner in the second week of May to shoot at Gajener Palace. Gulshan Grover is playing the husband of Salma Hayek in the film. The film is been directed by Bill Duke.
Asked whether Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 4 will have a head start in Rajasthan, sources said that most probably the unit will land in the state in the first week of April. "They don't want to shoot in blistering heat conditions in May and June though presently they have asked for first week of May. Final dates are to be worked out," a reliable source added. Earlier, the film was planned to be shot during December but problems relating to the dates of the actors including Tom Cruise and Anil Kapoor delayed it.
