Sanwarlal Jat elected new state chief of BJP farmer wing

Jat Leader and former BJP Minister Sanwarlal Jat took over as state president of the party's farmer's wing. Thousands of Vasundhara Raje supporters cheered as Jat was given a warm welcome in the presence of Bharatiya Kisan Morcha's national president Om Prakash Dhankar and other leaders. Earlier, the former chief minister of the state had opposed Vinod Chowdhry who had been named for the post. It was only after the intervention of Raje and her loyalists that Jat was later named as president of the Kisan Morcha.
