Kumbhalgarh National Park gets state cabinet approval

Rajasthan gets One more national park- Kumbhalgarh National Park for state. The State Cabinet finally approved the proposal of notifying, under Section 35 of the Wildlife(Protection)Act-1972, the areas of Kumbhalgarh and Tadgarh-Rawli, totalling around 509 km spread over 28 forest blocks of Udaipur, Rajsamand and Pali districts, as national park. The areas are full of biodiversity with wide range of fauna-Leopard,fox, wild cat,bear,wolf and deer and rich flora. Rajasthan already have Ranthambhore and Sariska tiger parks and the Keoladev Ghana bird sanctuary with status of a national park.
