Hawaldar shish ram gill, Pride of Nation

Kargil war, where Indian shoulder show their outstanding bravery and dedication for the Indian soil. Hawaldar shish ram gill was also one of kargil fighter who is remembered for his Bravery. Hawaldar Shish Ram Gill(1961 – 1999) from 8th Jat Regiment was awarded by Vir Chakra from Indian Army. He was born at village Vishanpura (Brahman ki dhani) in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan in India. He was born to his father Shankara and mother Rajkauri but brought up by Sardara Ram and Suraji Devi as adopted son.
As Hawaldar in 8th Jat Regiment, he was driving away the Pakistani intruders in Mushkoh valley during Kargil War on 9 July 1999. He had driven away the Pakistani intruders beyond the Line of Control and killed five intruders. Meanwhile he was attacked and killed on 9 July 1999. He was awarded the gallantry award Vir Chakra for his acts of bravery in the Kargil War.
