In rajasthan it is not Nehru-Gandhi family's daughter hitting politics but jat Daughters. Jat politicians in Rajasthan, making way for their daughters. This polls brings some of such candidates.
1. The 36-year-old, Congress candidate from Nagaur Lok Sabha constituency, Joyti Mirdha, is the latest to join the band of Jat Daughters. Jyoti is granddaughter of the late Nathuram Mirdha, the only Congress candidate in north India to win in the post-Emergency 1977 Lok Sabha elections. He had won the Nagaur seat. A 1996 MBBS graduate from Jaipur-based SMS Medical College and mother of a two-year-old son, Jyoti, may be a toddler in active politics, but her upbringing has helped her learn the real-life challenges of it.
2. Divya Maderna, the 26-year-old daughter of state water resources minister, Mahipal Maderna, and granddaughter of Parasram Maderna is another Jat girl, recently baptised into active politics. The father-son Maderna duo was seeking a Congress ticket for Divya in LS polls either from Pali or Barmer. Divya recently addressed a huge gathering in Osian assembly constituency, which is represented by her father.
3. Former state speaker Sumitra Singh, daughter of Jhunjhunu region's Jat leader, Laduram Choudhary.
4. Former deputy chief minister Kamla, daughter of Netram Singh and ex-MLA.
5. Partibha Singh, granddaughter of Shekhawati strongman, the late, Harlal Singh.
6. Rita Choudhary, daughter of Ram Narain Choudhary who retained her father's winning streak from the same constituency.
7. Rajbala, daughter-in-law of Union minister and Jhunjhunu MP, Sisram Ola, is also into active politics.
