Vaibhav Gehlot, the only son of chief minister Ashok Gehlot, is ready to take a plunge into active politics. But it is not sure when he will enter into politics. while asking about politics debut he simply reply “Ask my father”. The recent assembly and ongoing Lok Sabha elections have witnessed the son and daughter of many prominent leaders of Congress and BJP joining the political bandwagon. However, Ashok Gehlot had kept his son away from politics so far. This year there was rumour that Vaibhav might contest Lok Sabha election either from Jodhpur or Tonk-Sawai Madhopur. but that did not happen. Vaibhav used to campaign for his father in Sardarpura and in the civic elections in Jodhpur. He is also in great demand this time from various leaders. On Wednesday, he campaigned in Bhilwara and Sikar for party candidates.Vaibhav came under media spotlight for the first time when he suffered an injury in a police action during a protest march organized by Youth Congress in 2005. He is a member of the Youth Congress but not holding any post in the organisation. He is practising lawyer at Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur currently. So vaibhav gehlot is waiting to make a big debut in Rajasthan politics.

He sure will...he is a bright young lawyer...and a genuinely devoted and hard working person...who wants to make a mark on his own merit....
