BJP's Strenght rally in Ludhiyana, NDA show power

The Chief Ministers of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ruled states participate in a rally at ludhiyana to show strenght. NDA’s largest ally, the Janata Dal-United, the Assam Gana Parishad, Om Prakash Chautala’s Indian National Lok Dal, Ajit Singh’s Rashtriya Lok Dal and Shiv Sena participated in rally. Top BJP leaders, including its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani and party president Rajnath Singh, BJP-ruled state Chief Ministers Narendra Modi (Gujarat), B S Yeddyurappa (Karnataka), Shivraj Singh Chauhan (Madhya Pradesh), Raman Singh (Chhattisgarh), Prem Kumar Dhumal (Himachal Pradesh) and B.C. Khanduri (Uttarakhand) also participated in the rally. The rally is being seen as a show of strength by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to show that the NDA is intact. JDU leader and Bihar CM Nitish kumar is also present here that will give some releaf to BJP.
The chief ministers Narendra Modi, Nitsh Kumar, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Prakash Singh Badal, Raman Singh, Prem Kumar Dhoomal, B C Khanduri and Yeddiyurappa are expected to talk of the good governance of the NDA. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is sharing the stage with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi gives some strenght to NDA. Presence of Nitish Kumar at the rally came amid overtures to him by the Congress and the Left for a post-poll tie up. He told reporters in Patna before his departure for the rally that he is not in touch with any non-NDA constituent, nor has any such party or leader contacted him. "I have clarified on several occasions that neither I am in touch with anybody nor any party or leader (from outside NDA) has contacted me. How many times will I clarify. I am saying this clearly that there is no possibility of me being in touch with anybody at all," Nitish said.
