Lok sabha election of ajmer becomes most popular seat of rajasthan election this year. This is not only because young Congress leader Sachin Pilot to enhance his career but also important that congress want to get ajmer seat after 20 year and BJP want to retain seat. It was all BJP heritage seat whether there was an issue or not in last seven parliamentary elections. Till 1980s congress was the only party which leaded from this constituency. In 1989, BJP launched Rasa Singh Rawat, a teacher from Ajmer to check the caste trend in the rural area. this becomes wise decision by BJP and rasasingh rawat made this seat as a heritage seat for BJP.Rawat was the biggest vote bank of ajmer and this time the major belt of Rawats has been shifted to Rajasmand constituency. The equation of voting which was made by this community has been now breaking up and conditions are totally different this time, so BJP contest rasasingh rawat from rajsamand instead of ajmer and nominated Kiran Maheshwari, MP of Udaipur. While Congress launching a young candidate Sachin Pilot, congress is in a great hope to get back this seat after twenty years. Now the jat are significant in the constituency. To oppose Sanwar Lal Jat most of the jat voters has shifted to congress this time. Meanwhile Kiran maheshwari is confident to retain this seat with the BJP minded Rawta votes and Sachin is trying to get back the dalit, gujjar and jat votes to congress. So this election will decide the exact caste based equation of Ajmer Lok sabha seat.
