Rajasthan State Haj Committee decalred name of 4,265 people for Haj

Rajasthan State Haj Committee, on Tuesday announced the names of applicants who will go to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj this year. The name is declared by lottery based on districts at the Haj House Jaipur. Haj Committee of India is a committee in India formed under Haj Committee Act 2002, for making arrangements for the pilgrimage of Muslims of India for Haj.

Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj was made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. The Holy Prophet sent off 300 Muslims under the leadership of Hazrat Abubakr Siddique to Mecca so that they could perform Hajj. Haji is known to be the Biggest Religious Congregation in this world which is increasing every year. It is obligatory for all the Muslims who can afford it.Muslims from all parts of the world,having different colours,clans,languages,races come to interact with each other.
