CM Ashok gehlot will present state budget today at jaipur from 11:00 AM onwords. Budget speech, many expect it to be on the lines of the Union Budget, with the focus being on ‘aam aadmi’. Exemption from VAT, subsidies for farmers and better schemes for rural development are among the demands of people and they hope that while rolling out schemes for the rural sector, the government does not overlook infrastructure development. Farmers are entirely dependent on rains and hence at times they are unable to pay loan amounts in time and the high interest rates go beyond their limits. We hope that state government comes out with the schemes wherein they can avail loans at lower interest rates from local banks.
