Rameshwar Thakur takes oath as Rajasthan Governer

Madhya pradesh Governer Rameshwar Thakur takes oath as Rajasthan Governer. Governor of Madhya Pradesh Rameshwar Thakur was today sworn-in as acting Governor of Rajasthan. Acting Chief Justice of Rajasthan High court R.C.Gandhi administered oath to Thakur at Raj Bhawan. Rajasthan Governor S K Singh is on leave, necessitating the appointment of Thakur as the acting Governor. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat, Leader of the Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly and former Chief Minister Vasundhare Raje and several dignitaries were present. Mr Singh has gone on a three-week leave to undertake his visit to the US.
