Rajasthan is in grip of cold, fog and now rain which brings temperature down in all cities of state. Tuesdays brings some hope to rise in temperature but later rain again brings temperature down. Even the minimum temperature had increased to 5.9° Celsius from Monday’s 2.2 degrees in jaipur, fresh western disturbances originating from Pakistan caused the showers followed by chilly winds in the evening. The maximum temperature also rose to 19.7° Celsius, higher than Monday’s 18.4 degrees. Sanganer airport recorded 0.7 mm of rainfall. The Met office has forecast a drop in the minimum temperature over the next few days. More rainfall is also likely in some parts of the state on Wednesday. However, the fog enveloping the city may subside leading to a clear sky.
In Rajasthan, Jaisalmer recorded the maximum rainfall of 1.9 mm, followed by Jaipur recording 1.6 mm. Ajmer and Bikaner also reported slight drizzles. Bikaner was coldest on Tuesday with a minimum temperature of 2.1° Celsius, followed by Sriganganagar at 3.2 degrees. Churu and Sikar shivered at 4 degrees each, followed by Pilani and Jaiaslmer at 4.5 and 6.2 degrees respectively.
