Bus accident kills 22, many injured in Kuthalgate near dehradun in Uttrakhand state when driver lost control of the vehicle. At least 22 people killed including 8 children and many others injured in accident. Govt announced 1 Lakh compensation and police and medical teams are taking care of injured people. Twelve passengers were seriously wounded and 10 got minor injuries in the accident Wednesday night near the Shiv Mandir village, seven kilometres from in Dehradun. The bus was part of a convoy of eight buses carrying tourists from Haridwar who were returning after a day's sojourn in Mussoorie. According to an official, seven other buses returned safely to Haridwar.
