Dungarpur and Banswara linked by broad gauge line

The Centre said several steps have been initiated for the benefit of tribals in Rajasthan. "Tribal-dominated Dungarpur and Banswara districts will be linked by broad guage railway line to the rest of the state and a central fund of Rs 1,200 crore has already been sanctioned for the purpose,"Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs M S Khandela said. The minister, who was on a day visit to the lake city, said the government is ensuring that the tribals, who have not yet received authority papers of their land, get the land rights documents soon.
