Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Kota finally gets green signal from Technical education department. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot while giving his ascent to the proposal on Thursday announced the IIIT-Kota which would come up under the public private partnership (PPP). According to the proposal, the state government will invite proposals from corporate and industrial giants, like the Vedanta and Ambani group. Proposals will also be entertained from big IT companies, like Infosys. It has also been proposed that US universities, such as UPENN, Pennsylvania and Illinois should also be invited for the IIIT-Kota.
