Pankaj Joshi becomes new Mayor of Jaipur

After boycott by congress for Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) mayor election. Pankaj Joshi becomes new Major of JMC. As election was clear from start that BJP definitely win this election. The post of mayor had been vacant after former mayor Ashok Parnami was elected as MLA from Adarsh Nagar. Since then the deputy mayor Joshi had been working as the acting mayor. Parnami was also present on the occasion to greet the newly elected mayor.
New Mayor of jaipur Mr. Joshi said that his priorities will be to make a clean and green Jaipur.Efforts will also be made to improve the revenue collection of the municipal corporation through the lease agreements and cooperation with JDA.
