Saina Nehwal - Indian Badminton Star

Saina Nehwal is a India Badminton player born 17 March 1990 in the city of Hisar in Haryana, India. Currently ranked number 10, Saina is the first Indian woman to reach the singles quarterfinals at the Olympics and the first Indian to win the world Junior Championship. she is currently coached by Indian badminton legend gopichand at his academy in Hyderabad.
In December 1998, Saina's father took her to meet Coach Nani Prasad at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. Seeing potential in the girl, Prasad asked Singh to enroll Saina as a summer trainee. Harvir Singh her father and Saina, who was 8 yrs old at the time, would wake up at 6 every morning and head to the stadium which was 20 km away. After two hours of practice, Singh would drop Saina to school on his way to work. Saina would often fall asleep on these journeys which prompted her mother to accompany them for the next three months. She became the first Indian woman to reach the quarter finals at the olympic games when she upset world number five and fourth in a three-game thriller. In the quarter-finals Saina lost a nail biting 3-gamer. Saina is all set to take on the world Top ten, having been named The Most Promising Player in 2008 she reached the world super series semifinals in the month of december2008.
Now when saina returns on December 22, the welcome she deserve to receive from country and Badminton Officers was really shameful, there was no one to welcome, that show why we are at bottom of the sports. But we know one day she becomes and star and all Nation will salute her.
What we can say " WELCOME HOME SAINA, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU"

War Against Pakistan for mumbai attacks !!!

Pakistan's link in Mumbai attacks now make a situation of war and as per some TV channels reports its looking like pakistan is preparing for War!!!

Really a strange situation.... a country who do not have anything to eat and survive in global recession...sorry for my word, what is recession? i think pakistan ministers and people do not know about these things because recession belongs to countries who developed them self to stand in Global market in the field of IT, Manufactring, Finance, exports and these domain...while pakistan do not have any connection with these term.

I think india inspite of westing their time for war work on country development because if pakistan will do something they know what will be result and defence will show them the real power of india. From my personal view india should strike on Pakistan not even on Border but also to karanchi, islamabad so that they will be busy in doing some construction work for 10-20 years while india have to do lot of things in Games and Technology.

JAY HIND !!!

Any Jat politician to becomes CM is impossible !!!

It was early morning and i was waiting for train at railway station as usual for town which is 20km from my home. train was about 1 hr late as usual. there was some people was sitting and talking about politics and caste-ism kind of thinks so just to pass time i also join them as listener.
One of person to whom i know was a Village Pandit ji who is saying that next CM of rajasthan will be some Brahmin or Rajput. another one oppose that Jat can be ?
He replies " In Rajasthan who is the biggest caste- JAT and note it down it is Impossible any one from Jat community becomes CM"
This incident was 10 yr old when Ashok gehlot was first time CM od rajasthan. But one thing i understand very well that he said truth !!!
Because real thing is Jat politicians are like normal politician they are corrupt and selfish people in india. which you can easily see how sheeram ola, maderana, ramanarayan choudhary behave and pull each others leg. even one of jat politician say that jat people do not voted me for win i win by party support, while he do not know that what jat people can do with them....so please people do your vote with your mind rajasthani jat politician specially are not up to our expectations.

Ratan Tata's Net worth is more than Warren Buffet, world's richest person

This look somewhat strange Statement but its true.
Tata's profit and owernership is distributed in various trust's and 65% ownership ownership of Tatasons Limited is not reflected on Ratan Tata's personal Financial Statement but on the various charitable organizations. and this is the reason why Ratan Tata is not in the list of Billionaire club.
If we put this 65% ownership of Tata Sons in Ratan TATA's own personal financial statement than Ratana Tata's Net worth can become mopre than $ 70 billion, that is much more than the Warren Buffet's Current Net Worth of $ 62 billion, the world's richest person according to Forbes magazine 2008.
So the real story of Ratan Tata is that, he is probably world's richest person and not Warren Buffet but the thing is that, this 65% ownership of TATA Sons is hold by various Tata Group Charitable Organizations and not by Ratan Tata himself.
However, it doesn't mean that Ratan Tata is poor. In one intervies he had told the reporter that, "I have my own Capital". He is the chairman of Tata Group so obviously he earns lots of money every year as a bonus, remuneration and salary. However, Ratan Tata's Net worth is not $ 1 Billion.
He is not a billionaire on paper. but in reality he is the richest person of the world. His net worth in reality is more than Bill Gtes and Warren Buffet.
SO the good thing about Tata Group is that, They do CHarity out of their Money...

And that is the reson TATA Group has genereted so much of GoodWill over last 5 generations....

Why Ratan tata is not in the list of billionaire?

"Why Ratan tata is not in the list of billionaire?"
I Think this might be the question which click in your every day when you hear that ambani have this much property so on and so while you will never get name of Ratan Tata in such list not even in top 20 wealthiest people in india.
There is the reason why so happening.
The reason is that, TATA Group's 96 companies are holded by its main Company "TATA Sons" and the main owner of this TATA Sons is not Ratan Tata but various charitable organizations developed and run by TATA Group. Out of which JRD TATA Trust & Sir Ratan Tata Trust are the main. 65% ownership of TATA Sons which is the key holding company of other 96 TATA Group Company is hold by various charitable organizations.

Ratan Tata a legand in Indian History

Ratan Tata became the Chairman of the Tata Group in 1981 after serving as Chairman in charge of the Nelco division of the group. Tata is India's largest conglomerate and includes the brands Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Power, Indian Hotels, as well as other brands labeled under the Tata name.
Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937 in Mumbai, India in one of the richest families in the country. His great grandfather, Jamsedji Tata, was the founder of the Tata group and passed the power and inheritance down to his family. Ratan Tata grew up in a broken household, however, after his parents split in the mid-1940s and he and his brother were raised by their grandmother, Lady Navajbai.
Tata was a good student and studied hard at the Campion School in Mumbai followed by studies in architecture and structural engineering at Cornell University. He graduated with his bachelors degree in 1962 and joined the Tata Group in December of that same year. Tata's first job with the Group involved working with the Tata Steel division where he worked with the blue-collar employees shoveling stone and working with the furnaces.
Although this original job was physically difficult, it helped Ratan Tata gain a better understanding and appreciation for the business and he gradually began taking on more responsibility. In 1971, Tata became Director-in-Charge of the National Radio & Electronics Company Limited (Nelco) in order to help its struggling finances. Ratan Tata helped build a better consumer electronics division but the economic recession and union strikes prevented his vision from taking hold.
Tata was eventually moved to Empress Mills in 1977, a struggling textile mill within the Tata Group. Ratan Tata renewed the vision for the mill but the larger Tata Group was not in agreement with his advice. Instead, the mill was shut down and liquidated in 1986, to Tata's disappointment, and he was moved to the Tata Industries, another holding company.
With Tata Industries, Ratan Tata was able to transform the management and vision of the division and bring in significantly larger dividends. This renewed financial success helped bring the Tata Group to the New York Stock Exchange and gave the company even more international power and prestige. Ratan Tata continued to acquire different industries for the Tata Group, eventually purchasing the steel an aluminum producer, Corus Group as well as Jaguar and Land Rover brands from the Ford Company.

Ratan Tata lives a very private life in Mumbai, India.

General Motors is going to file for bankruptcy

General Motors Corp, the biggest US automaker, should file for bankruptcy rather than taking money from the government, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman said. GM is petitioning the US government for aid after saying last week that it may not have enough cash to operate this year. A bankruptcy would leave bondholders in control of the company in exchange for forgiving some debts, Ackman said. GM dropped to its lowest level in 59 years yesterday after a Deutsche Bank AG analyst downgraded the shares and said they may be worthless in a year. The slump demonstrated mounting pessimism that a turnaround will succeed at the automaker amid a global credit crisis and the worst sales market in at least 15 years. Meanwhile ,GM fell 1 dollar, or 23 percent, to USD 3.36 in New York Stock Exchange composite trading yesterday, its lowest close since June 17, 1949, according to Global Financial Data in Los Angeles. The shares have lost 86 per cent of their value this year.
This whole instance may lead General Motors to Bankruptcy. May be we are going to miss various General Motors cars.

No new additions to Navratna PSU list

The wait of seven public sector companies for inclusion in the elite 'Navratna' club seems to be an endless affair, with the meeting of a top body that will vet their case repeatedly getting postponed due to absence of compelling proposals. The proposal of the seven companies have been put before the Apex Committee headed by the Cabinet Secretary more than four months back, during which several meetings were scheduled but none held. Sources said one of the reasons for continuously deferring the meeting was that none of the companies seeking Navratna status qualify for such rank. The PSUs that have applied for Navratna status include Power Finance Corporation, Rural Electrification Corporation, Power Grid, National Hydroelectric Corporation, BSNL, Nalco and Hindustan Aeronautics.
Sources said even the biggest company in the pack, BSNL, fails on many parameters for the coveted category. They said though the revenues of the company could be the envy of many, but they don't measure up when it comes to other parameters like size. For Navratna status to a company, its various parameters are rated and based on that score they are admitted into the exclusive club of cash-rich companies. The score of BSNL in the appraisal touched 50, whereas for getting into Navratna category the minimum score is 60.

PSU Head's Payment will be more than President

Top guns of public sector units (PSUs) will no longer have a reason to complain about their poor pay packets, as many will soon be drawing salaries more than the President of India. The government has approved an average 96% increase in salaries of those working in central public sector enterprises (CPSEs). The increase has been higher at the top, with salaries of CEOs of profit-making CPSEs rising by nearly 300%. In addition, employees could also receive up to 200% performance-related pay as well.
What’s more, the revised salary would be applicable from January 1, 2007, which means these employees would receive fat arrears as well. This would translate into an extra burden of Rs 9,000 crore every year on the CPSEs. This should also help provide some consumption boost to the slowdown-hit economy.

3 D MOVIES Released last Weekend

Ok, don't get confused by the title, I am not talking about any 3D movies like 'Chotta Chetan' but I am talking about three Hindi movies released last friday and all of them started with letter 'D' viz. Dostana, Dasvidaniya and Deshdrohi.

Dostana is one of the eagerly awaited movie of 2008 starring Abhishek, John, Booby and Priyanka revolves around the circumstances which make John andAbhi to pretend like gay couple and the story take several twists and turns.

Dasvidaniya is bittersweet situational comedy about a man Amar Kaul (Vinay Pathak), whose existence is easily forgotten among the millions of people in the pool of Mumbai’s ever-increasing population. His Existence was non-existent to people around him. And then one day a doctor told him that he will die within 3 months. In a hurry Amar Kaul rushed to make a list of thing to do before he dies and he sets on a journey to fulfil the tasks on the wish list.

Dasvidaniya is a film that transcends beyond being a symbol of people who have numerous desires but hold themselves back from living their dreams.

and the third one 'Desh Drohi' is based on the recent spurt of incidence against north Indians (even our CJI also made a statement in this regard that one should not divide and rule the country), well leave that, the movie is the maiden venture of Kamal Khan as Writer, actor and producer and in news as Maharashtra government bannned the screening of movie.

India won second ODI against England

All the talk emerging from the England camp post the drubbing at Rajkot, about the need for them to get their attitude right, seemed to bear fruit, when they came out charging early on in the second one-day international at Indore and reduced India, who had opted to bat first, to 29 for 3 in the first ten overs. Stuart Broad made good use of the conditions, and reaped the benefit of bowling the right lengths on a wicket that was two-paced. He landed one full and got it to jag back into Virender Sehwag (1), found the inside edge of the Indian opener’s bat and saw the ball crash into his stumps; in his next over, he aimed one at Suresh Raina’s (4) rib cage, and the pitch came to his assistance. The ball stopped on the southpaw who was shaping to work the ball to the leg side, took the leading edge of the bat and lobbed to Samit Patel at squareleg.

Indian Tricolour Placed on the Moon on 14th Nov. 2008

In a historic event, the Indian space programme achieved a unique feat with the placing of Indian tricolour on the Moon’s surface on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday. The Indian flag was painted on the sides of Moon Impact Probe (MIP), one of the 11 payloads of Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft, that successfully hit the lunar surface today at 20:31 hrs (8:31 pm) IST. This is the first Indian built object to reach the surface of the moon. The point of MIP’s impact was near the Moon’s South Polar Region. It may be recalled that the modern Indian space programme was initiated in 1962 when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister of India.

India won first ODI by 158 Run againgst England

India won first ODI by 158 Run againgst England. Yuvraj Singh struck the second fastest One-day century by an Indian to set up a crushing 158-run victory over England in the first One-Day International on Friday. The 26-year-old left-hander smashed 138 not out off just 78 balls to help India post an imposing 387 for five for their best One-day total against a Test-playing nation.
It was the highest total England has ever conceded and ended in one of their heaviest defeats by runs in the 50-over game after they were bowled out for 229 despite fifties by skipper Kevin Pietersen (63) and Ravi Bopara (54 not out).

India fifth in world to reach moon

The tricolour landed on the Moon at 8.31 pm on Friday, opening a new chapter in the history of India’s space exploration. Other countries which have reached the Moon are:
1. USA
2. Soviet Union
3. Japan
4. the European Space Agency (17 nations).
5. India becomes the fifth member of this club.

The tricolour was painted on all sides of the 29 kg Moon Impact Probe(MIP) which was attached to the top portion of the main lunar orbiter, Chandrayaan. The MIP is the brainchild of former President A P J Abdul Kalam who witnessed its separation from the main orbiting craft and its crashlanding 32 km from the Shackleton crater on the moon’s south pole from the mission control room at ISRO’s telemetry, tracking and command network (ISTRAC) in Bangalore.
