‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet 2016’ Rajasthan CM interacts with envoys of Netherlands, Australia and Israel

In the context of ‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet 2016’ (GRAM) scheduled to be held in Jaipur from 9 to 11 November Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday met envoys of 3 countries at Bikaner House in New Delhi.  She had one-to-one meetings with the Ambassador of Netherlands, Mr. Alphonsus Stoelinga; High Commissioner of Australia, Ms. Harinder Sidhu and Ambassador of Israel, Mr. Daniel Carmon.   During the meeting she informed the envoys that the prime objective of ‘GRAM’ is to expose farming communities to the technological advancements and global best-practices in farming and allied activities while showcasing investment opportunities in the State to agri-business communities across the world. The Chief Minister further informed that State is actively working towards doubling farm income by the year 2022. Necessary interventions relating to policy, technology and infrastructure have been made to achieve sustainable enhancement in the agriculture sector, she said. Agriculture in Israel is a highly developed industry as it’s a major exporter of fresh produce and a world-leader in agriculture technologies despite the fact that the geography of Israel is not naturally conducive to agriculture like Rajasthan. Netherlands in total has 2 million hectares of agriculture land out of which 50 percent is used for crop production. It’s the world’s largest exporter of agricultural products. The agri-food sector is one of the main drivers of the Dutch economy. Australia has succeeded in farming the world’s driest inhabited continent, through technology innovation and ability to adapt production systems. Australia’s plant, animal and agricultural scientists rank among the best in the world.  All the three countries are strong performers in agriculture, horticulture, dairy, and other allied sectors. 

The Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet will be held from 9 to 11 November at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) at Sitapura in Jaipur. Jointly organized by the Government of Rajasthan and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the event will be attended by over 50,000 farmers. उदयपुर में ब्रिक्स देशों के आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्रियों का द्वितीय सम्मेलन शुरू

केन्द्रीय गृह राज्य मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने आज उदयपुर में कहा कि गत कुछ दशकों में राष्ट्रीय आपदाओं की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी हुई है। आपदाओं से मानव जीवन और संपत्ति को बड़ा नुकसान होता है। वहीं, ये देश के विकास को भी प्रभावित करती हैं। ऐसे में आपदा प्रबंधन को मजबूती प्रदान करने के लिए ब्रिक्स देशों को आपस में मिलकर एक ऐसी समग्र रणनीति तैयार करनी चाहिए, जिससे कि सतत विकास के मार्ग में प्राकृतिक आपदाएं बाधक नहीं बन सकें एवं जन-धन और सम्पति के नुकसान से बचा जा सके।  केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्री रिजिजू सोमवार को उदयपुर के उदयविलास में आपदा प्रबंधन विषय पर ब्रिक्स मंत्रियों के दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन के शुभारंभ समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इस मौके पर केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्री रिजिजू ने कहा कि ब्रिक्स देशों में सबसे कम शहरी आबादी भारत में 35 प्रतिशत है, जबकि ब्राजील में 86 प्रतिशत, रूस में 74, चीन में 56, दक्षिण अफ्रीका में 65 प्रतिशत लोग शहरों में रहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बढ़ते शहरीकरण, औद्योगिक गतिविधियों के कारण अब आपदाओं का प्रभाव ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की अपेक्षा शहरों पर ज्यादा रहता है। ऐसे में अब आपदाओं के प्रभावों को रोकने के लिए चिंतन की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत में विगत वर्षों में आपदा प्रबंधन कृषि विभाग द्वारा ही किया जाता रहा था और अब इसके लिए अलग से विभाग बनाया गया है। ऐसे में आपदा प्रबंधन अब ‘गुड गवर्नेंस’ का भाग बन गया है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि आज पूरा विश्व नित नई आपदाओं की मार से जूझ रहा है। लगातार हो रहे शहरीकरण, अनियंत्रित विस्तार, बढ़ती जनसंख्या, प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का मनमाना दोहन इसके प्रमुख कारण हैं। हमें उनसे जूझने का दृष्टिकोण अपनाकर आगे की नीतियां बनानी होंगी। श्री रिजिजू ने बताया कि 1970 से ही जलवायु परिवर्तन पर विश्व भर में चिंता जाहिर की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सोच में ही आपदा प्रबंधन होना चाहिए। हम मकानों, शहर की सड़कों, शॉपिंग मॉल, स्कूलों, कॉलेजों और यहां तक कि स्ट्रीट पोल तक को इसी के अनुरूप बनाएं। उन्होंने प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से निपटने के लिए प्राकृतिक आपदा रोधी भवनों के निर्माण का प्रयास करने की आवश्यकता भी जताई।  उन्होंने ब्रिक्स देशों से आह्वान किया कि वे आपदा प्रबंधन की दृष्टि से चुनौतियों को समझें और अपने प्रयासों एवं विशिष्टताओं को साझा करते हुए ऐसी सामूहिक कार्ययोजना बनाएं, जिससे आपदा परिस्थितियों में कम से कम जन-धन का नुकसान हो तथा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में त्वरित राहत पहुंचाई जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कार्य में भारत ब्रिक्स देशों के साथ कंधे-से-कंधा मिलाकर खड़ा है। उन्होंने जापान का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से निपटने के लिए हमें जापान जैसे देशों के आपदा प्रबंधन से सीख लेनी होगी।

समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए राजस्थान के गृह, आपदा प्रबंधन एवं राहत मंत्री श्री गुलाबचंद कटारिया ने कहा कि आपदा देश-काल की सीमाओं में बंधी नहीं है, यह एक चुनौती है जिसका मुकाबला करते हुए अधिकाधिक लोगों को राहत देने का प्रयास किया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजस्थान ने भी आपदाओं से निपटने के लिए केन्द्र सरकार के सहयोग से प्रयास किए हैं और प्रदेश के 24 लाख हेक्टेयर फसल पर प्राकृतिक आपदा ओलावृष्टि से हुए नुकसान पर 29 लाख किसानों को 2,467 करोड़ रुपये का मुआवजा सीधे बैंक खातों में वितरित करते हुए राज्य के इतिहास में पहली बार इतनी बड़ी राहत दी गई है। उन्होंने ब्रिक्स देशों के प्रतिनिधियों को विश्व के सुंदरतम शहरों में शुमार झीलों की नगरी उदयपुर के आतिथ्य को स्वीकार करने और यहां के नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य का अवलोकन करने का आग्रह भी किया।

चिकित्सा मंत्री ने किया ’’मां’’ कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ

चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री राजेन्द्र राठौड़ ने सोमवार को प्रदेश में शिशु मृत्यु दर को कम करने एवं शिशु आहार स्तर को सुदृढ़ कर कुपोषण को दूर करने के उद्देश्य से ’’मां’’ (मदर्स एब्सल्यूएट एफेक्शन) कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया। यह कार्यक्रम 29 अगस्त से सभी जिलों में प्रारंभ किया जायेगा।     श्री राठौड़ ने एसएमएस कन्वेशन सेन्टर में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय समारोह में दीप प्रज्जवलित कर एवं पोस्टर सहित आईईसी सामग्री का विमोचन कर ‘‘मां’’ कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया। उन्होंने बताया कि 6 माह तक केवल स्तनपान एवं 5 वर्ष तक मां के दूध के साथ-साथ पोषक आहार पर ध्यान देकर शिशु मृत्यु में 19 प्रतिशत तक कमी लायी जा सकती है। श्री राठौड़ ने कहा कि जन्मते ही बच्चों के लिए मां का दूध सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण घटक है। उन्होंने बताया कि दस्त व निमोनिया 5 वर्ष से छोटे बच्चों की मृत्यु का मुख्य कारण है। मां के दूध पिलाने से शिशुओं में दस्त रोग से मृत्यु होने की संभावना 11 प्रतिशत व निमोनिया से 15 प्रतिशत तक कम हो जाती है। स्तनपान से कुपोषण से होने वाली मौतों से बचाया जा सकता है। चिकित्सा मंत्री ने बताया कि ’’मां’’ कार्यक्रम में स्तनपान व शिशु आहार के संरक्षण के लिए सामुदायिक स्तर एवं चिकित्सा केन्द्र स्तर पर व्यापक वातावरण विकसित किया जायेगा। स्तनपान के महत्व को बढ़ाने के लिए आशा सहयोगिनियों एवं अन्य स्वास्थ्यकार्मिकों के सहयोग से गर्भवती महिलाओं,  धात्री माताओं, उनके परिजनों सहित जनसमुदाय को स्तनपान के महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी जायेगी। श्री राठौड़ ने बताया कि बच्चों की स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा के लिए विषेष प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि चित्तौडगढ़, बूंदी, बारां, टोंक, भरतपुर, अलवर, चूरू, व्याबर, भीलवाडा एवं बांसवाड़ा में 10 करोड़ की राशि से 10 मदर मिल्क बैंक स्थापित किये जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वर्तमान में एसएमएस मेडिकल कॉलेज जयपुर एवं आरएनटी मेडिकल कॉलेज उदयपुर में मदर मिल्क बैंक संचालित किये जा रहे हैं। प्रमुख शासन सचिव चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य श्रीमती वीनू गुप्ता ने बताया कि स्तनपान व शिशु आहार स्तर को मजबूती देने हेतु राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम ’’मां‘‘ प्रदेश में भी प्रारंभ किया जा रहा हैं। केंद्र सरकार के दिशा- निर्देशों के अनुसार इस कार्यक्रम का प्रदेश में सफल क्रियान्वयन किया जायेगा। मिशन निदेशक राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन श्री नवीन जैन ने जिला स्तर पर सफल क्रियान्वयन के लिये जिला प्रजनन एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी के साथ जिला आशा समन्वयक, ब्लाक आशा फेसीलेटर एवं पीएचसी आशा सुपरवाइजर के साथ समन्वित होकर कार्य करने की आवश्यकता प्रतिपादित की। उन्होंने जिला आशा समन्वयकों को आशा संचार के माध्यम से आशा सहयोगिनियों से नियमित संवाद कायम करने पर भी बल दिया। जोधपुर एसएन मेडिकल कॉलेज में शिशु रोग विभाग के प्रो. डा. अनुराग ने प्रजेंटेशन के माध्यम से मां के दूध के लाभ एवं तकनीकी पहलुओं पर प्रजेंटेशन के माध्यम से विस्तार से जानकारी दी। राज्य सलाहकार श्री देवेन्द्र ने शिशु स्वास्थ्य को बढ़ावा देने के लिये मदर मिल्क बैंक, पालना घर इत्यादि नवाचारों के बारे में प्रकाश डाला। यूनिसेफ की श्रीमती सुलग्ना राय ने मां कार्यक्रम के क्रियान्वयन में यूनिसेफ की ओर से पूर्ण सहयोग के लिये आश्वस्त किया। समारोह में बारां जिले के श्री गोपाल धानुका और उनके साथियों ने संस्थागत प्रसव, जच्चा-बच्चा स्वास्थ्य विषय पर नुक्कड़ नाटक के जरिये आकर्षक प्रस्तुति दी। निदेशक आरसीएच डॉ. वी.के. माथुर ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।

पीवी सिंधू ने जीता रियो ओलिंपिक में सिल्वर मैडल

रियो ओलिंपिक में बैडमिंटन फीमेल सिंगल का फाइनल हारकर भी पीवी सिंधु ने इतिहास रच दिया। रियो ओलंपिक में 19 अगस्त को को भारतीय बैडमिंटन स्टार पीवी सिंधू फाइनल में स्पेन की कैरोलीना मारिन से 19-21, 21-11, 21-14 से हार गई लेकिन भारत के लिए व्यक्तिगत स्पर्धा में सिंधू ने तीसरा रजत पदक जीता है। सिंधु ओलिंपिक में सिल्वर मेडल जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला एथलीट बन गई हैं। इससे पहले साइना नेहवाल ने लन्दन ओलिंपिक 2012 में बैडमिंटन में कांस्य पदक जीता था ।

पीवी सिंधू ने ब्राजील के रियो डि जेनेरियो में आयोजित 2016 ओलम्पिक खेलों में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया और महिला एकल स्पर्धा के फाइनल में पहुंचने वाली भारत की पहली महिला बनीं। सेमी फाइनल मुकाबले में सिंधु ने जापान की नोजोमी ओकुहारा को सीधे सेटों में हराया। फाइनल में उनका मुकाबला विश्व की प्रथम वरीयता प्राप्त खिलाड़ी स्पेन की कैरोलिना मैरिन से हुआ। पहली गेम 21-19 से सिंधु ने जीता लेकिन दूसरी गेम में मैरिन 21-12 से विजयी रही, जिसके कारण मैच तीसरी गेम तक चला। तीसरी गेम में उन्होंने अच्छा मुकाबला किया किंतु 21-15 से हारने पर उन्हें रजत पदक से संतोष करना पड़ा।

साक्षी मलिक ने महिला कुश्ती में पहला ओलंपिक मेडल जीता

रियो ओलंपिक में भारतीय महिला पहलवान साक्षी मलिक ने 58 किलो भार वर्ग की फ्रीस्टाइल कुश्ती में ब्रॉन्ज मेडल जीतकर इतिहास रच दिया है। ये कारनामा करने वाली वो पहली भारतीय महिला पहलवान बनीं। साक्षी ने रेपचेज के फाइनल मुकाबले में किर्गिजस्तान की पहलवान एसुलू तिनिवेकोवा को मात देकर रियो ओलंपिक में भारत को पहला मेडल दिलाया। इस कामयाबी के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने साक्षी को बधाई दी है। सूचना एवं प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री राज्यवर्द्धन राठौड़ ने भी साक्षी मलिक को उनके बेहतरीन खेल के लिए बधाई दी।

साक्षी ने किर्गिजस्तान की पहलवान के सामने जबरदस्त खेल दिखाकर ब्रॉन्ज मेडल पर कब्जा जमाया। पहले राउंड में वो किर्गिस्‍तान की पहलवान एसुलू तिनिवेकोवा से 0-5 से हार गईं थीं। दूसरे राउंड की शुरुआत में पिछड़ने के बाद साक्षी ने जबरदस्त वापसी की और 8-5 से दूसरा सेट जीतकर मुकाबला बराबर किया, और देश को कांस्‍य पदक दिलाकर भारत का रियो ओलंपिक में खाता खुलवाया।

2nd Meeting of BRICS Ministers for Disaster Management to be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan on August 22-23, 2016

The 2nd Meeting of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa) Ministers for Disaster Management will be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan on August 22-23, 2016. The two-day meeting will focus on two distinct but inter-related themes: a) Flood Risk Management; and b) Forecasting of Extreme Weather Events in the context of Changing Climate. It is a follow up of the 1st meeting of the BRICS Ministers for Disaster Management convened by the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg on April 19-20, 2016. 

Recognizing the common challenge posed by natural and man-made disasters, BRICS countries have identified Disaster Management as an important area of collaboration. The Ufa Declaration signed by BRICS Nations at the 7th BRICS Summit on July 9, 2015 identified the need to promote cooperation in preventing and developing responses to emergency situations. The Declaration also acknowledged the fruitful discussions on natural disasters within the context of BRICS cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation. It also reiterated BRICS commitment to mitigate the negative impact of climate change. All the five BRICS countries have signed the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. They are also parties to the adoption of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in March, 2015 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015. A number of SDGs have specific targets related to Disaster Risk Management (DRM).  The country delegations to the Udaipur Meeting will be led by the Ministers of Disaster Management from the respective BRICS countries and other senior officials/ technical experts from Disaster Management Ministries/ Departments. 

The objectives of this meeting are: 

1. To share experiences on flood risk management particularly with regards to flood risk assessment, flood forecasting, early warning and emergency response; 
2. To share experiences on current systems in each country for forecasting extreme weather events -- heat and cold waves, and episodes of extreme rainfall– particularly in the context of a changing climate; and
3. To identify opportunities for collaboration between institutions of respective BRICS countries in the area of flood risk management and extreme weather related events. 

During the Ministerial Meeting in Udaipur three technical sessions with key thrust areas will be held as mentioned below:

(i) Mainstreaming DRR in key development sectors

(ii) Capacity building at local level

(iii) Strengthening of response mechanism

b) Forecasting and early warning on floods and extreme weather events

Bharat Parv 2016 being celebrated on Rajpath lawns from 12th to 18th Aug, 2016

Bharat Parv is being organized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India to celebrate the festivities associated with seventy years of independence. There are four components of the festival – Food, handicraft, cultural presentations and State Theme pavilion. The state of Rajasthan is participating in all the activities. The state has set up a food stall and a handicraft stall offering authentic Rajasthani Cuisine and Handicraft items of the state, respectively. The State Pavilion showcases the recent development initiatives in the state. All the stalls are distinctive in typical Rajasthan décor.The stalls and pavilion are attracting large number of visitors on daily basis.

A cultural presentation was made by the Delhi based voluntary associations of Rajasthani people on the 13th of Aug, 2016. The presentations depicted the Rajasthani folk music and dance in a very creative and impressive way. People of all age groups participated in the cultural show with great enthusiasm. The highlights were Ghoomar dance, Chang Dhap and Kalbelia dance presented by the members of various associations. The show was highly appreciated by the audience as well as by the Ministry officials present therein

Increase in Atomic Power Units in Rajasthan

The present installed nuclear power capacity in the state of Rajasthan is 1180 MW comprising six units, Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS)1 to 6 at Rawatbhata. Of these, one unit, RAPS, Unit-1(100 MW) is presently under shutdown for techno-economic assessment and the remaining five, RAPS 2 to 6 are operating at their rated capacity. 

Two units each of 700 MW capacity (RAPP 7&8 – 2X700 MW) are under construction at Rawatbhata in Rajasthan. These are expected to be completed by 2019. In addition, Government has accorded ‘In Principle’ approval for setting up of 4X700 MW capacity units at Mahi Banswara in Rajasthan. Presently pre-project activities like acquisition of land, obtaining statutory clearances and site investigations have started at the site.

Aniket Choudhary wins Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat contest

Aniket Choudhary, a youngster from Udaipur has won the contest for suggesting best ideas for Narendra Modi's pet 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' project that aims at cultural connect between states. Choudhary is alumni of CTAE, Udaipur and working as a Prime Minister Rural Development Fellow in Jammu & Kashmir for the last two years suggested introduction of new chapters from Class 5 in schools highlighting cultural aspects of other states and storytelling competitions about leaders of other states.  "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" contest was organized on MyGov, Government of India’s citizen-engagement platform, from 5th November 2015 to 25th December 2015. Citizens were invited to submit their ideas and suggestions on structuring the programme so as to encapsulate its true spirit in all its various dimensions and capture the diversity that characterises India. Aniket Choudhary from Jammu and Kashmir was adjudged the winner while Shashi Kumar Kulkarni from Pune and Tushar Khatri from New Delhi were adjudged second and third respectively. Aniket Choudhary was awarded with Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize and certificate on 6th August by PM Narendra Modi.

Aniket Choudhary is born in Udaipur (Rajasthan) and working as Fellow under Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellows (PMRDFs) in Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir. He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, from College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur and later PGDM from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur.

PM expresses anger at self-styled gau-rakshaks

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today expressed anger at self-styled “gau-rakshaks” (cow-protectors) who “run shops in the name of cow protection,” and urged action against criminals who masquerade as protectors of the cow. In a unique “townhall” interaction that marked two years of MyGov, - the Government’s web platform for participatory governance - the Prime Minister asked State Governments to prepare a dossier of such people. Mentioning how cows were dying due to plastic consumption, he urged all those who were genuinely concerned about the welfare of cows to devote their efforts to ensuring that cows do not consume plastic.  The Prime Minister answered a range of questions on various subjects such as good governance, foreign policy, and participatory democracy. 

He said that the spirit of democracy is incomplete if one thinks the citizen's role stops at voting. Participative democracy is essential, he emphasized. He said 'last mile delivery' is as important as policies, and the benefits must reach the intended beneficiaries. He said good governance means those processes that are redundant do not exist. Grievance redressal systems are the biggest strengths of a democracy, he added.  Shri Narendra Modi said if there is one sector that can power the economy, it is agriculture. Mentioning the Rurban Mission, the Prime Minister said that his vision was to provide modern amenities to the rural areas, while retaining the soul of villages.

गोपालन मंत्री ने किया हिंगोनिया गौशाला का औचक निरीक्षण

पशुपालन एवं गोपालन मंत्री श्री प्रभुलाल सैनी ने शनिवार को हिंगोनिया गोशाला का आकस्मिक निरीक्षण कर यहां की व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। श्री सैनी ने गोशाला में पशुचिकित्सा सेवाओं की समीक्षा की और व्यवस्थाएं दुरूस्त करने के निर्देश दिए।  श्री सैनी ने निरीक्षण के दौरान पशुपालन विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे हिंगोनिया गोशाला में पशुचिकित्सा व्यवस्था में किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही व कोताही को किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि गायों के उपचार या देखभाल में कोताही बरतने वाले कार्मिकों पर सख्त कार्यवाही की जाएगी। उन्होंने पशुचिकित्सालय में जाकर गायों की चिकित्सा व्यवस्था का जायजा किया। मीडिया से बातचीत में श्री सैनी ने बताया कि हिंगोनिया गौशाला में चिकित्सा व्यवस्था संतोषजक पाई गई है, यहां दवाईयों की भी पर्याप्त व्यवस्था है। आवश्यकता पड़ने पर अतिरिक्त स्टाफ की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि गौवंश के संरक्षण और संवद्र्धन के लिए राज्य सरकार प्रतिबद्धता के साथ काम कर रही है। उन्होंने गोशाला के वार्ड नम्बर 3 में जाकर सभी गायों के बारे में जानकारी ली। इस वार्ड में उन्होंने कई बीमार गायों को खुद चारा खिलाया और पानी भी पिलाया। इस अवसर पर उनके साथ पशुपालन विभाग के सचिव श्री कुंजीलाल मीणा, पशुपालन विभाग के निदेशक श्री अजय कुमार गुप्ता सहित पशुपालन और गोशाला में कार्यरत डॉक्टरों की टीम उपस्थित थी।

प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना में 10 अगस्त तक हो सकेगा बीमा

कृषि एवं किसान कल्‍याण मंत्रालय से विभिन्‍न राज्‍यों ने बीमा प्रस्‍ताव जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि बढ़ाने का अनुरोध किया था। आवश्‍यक प्रक्रियाओं को पूरा करने में हुई देरी और नोटिफिकेशन में देरी के चलते सहित विभिन्‍न कारणों से यह अनुरोध किया गया था। प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के क्रियान्‍वयन को लेकर भी यह पहला सत्र है। इसी को ध्‍यान में रखते हुए मंत्रालय ने राज्‍यों की मांग पर ध्‍यान दिया और अंतिम तिथि को बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया। इस मामले पर विचार करते हुए कृषि एवं किसान कल्‍याण मंत्रालय ने आज बीमा प्रस्‍ताव जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 10 अगस्‍त तक बढाने का फैसला किया। पूर्व में फसल बीमा योजना के तहत बीमा कराने की तिथि ऋणी कृृषकों की 2 अगस्त और गैर ऋणी कृृषकों की 5 अगस्त थी।

कृृषि मंत्री श्री प्रभुलाल सैनी ने बताया कि राज्य के कृृषकों द्वारा बीमा तिथि बढ़ाने की मांग की जा रही थी। उन्होंने बताया कि कृषि विभाग द्वारा जारी की गई अधिसूचना में शामिल फसलों का बीमा 10 अगस्त तक करवाया जा सकेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इस अधिसूचना में क्षेत्रवार प्रमुख फसलों को शामिल किया गया है। खरीफ सीजन की बाजरा, मूंग, मूंगफली, ग्वार, मोठ, मक्का, ज्वार, सोयाबीन सहित प्रमुख फसलों का बीमा किया रहा है।  कृषि मंत्री ने बताया कि कृषक बीमा कंपनियों के कार्यालयों और कृषि विभाग के उपनिदेशक विस्तार कार्यालय में जाकर बीमा सम्बंधी जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने किसानों से अधिक से अधिक बीमा करवाने का आह्वान किया है।

जीएसटी बिल राज्यसभा में पास, प्रधानमंत्री ने सभी पार्टियों को धन्यवाद दिया

राज्य सभा ने जीएसटी यानी वस्तु एवं सेवा कर बिल के लिए लाए गए संविधान संशोधन बिल को पास कर दिया है। बिल के समर्थन में 197 वोट पड़े जबकि बिल का विरोध कर रही तमिलनाडु की पार्टी एआईएडीएमके के 35 सांसदों ने वोटिंग में हिस्सा नहीं लिया और सदन का बहिष्कार किया। प्रमुख विपक्षी पार्टी कांग्रेस ने बिल का समर्थन ज़रूर किया लेकिन इसके लिए उसने सरकार के सामने कई शर्ते भीं रखीं। संशोधन बिल पर बहस के दौरान कांग्रेस का पक्ष रखते हुए पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम ने सरकार से यह भरोसा मांगा कि संविधान संशोधन बिल पास होने के बाद सरकार मूल जीएसटी बिल को पिछले दरवाज़े से पास नहीं कराएगी। 

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राज्यसभा में जीएसटी बिल के पारित होने के अवसर पर सभी पार्टियों और उनके नेताओं का आभार व्यक्त किया है| जीएसटी को सहकारी संघवाद का बेहतरीन उदाहरण बताते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने ट्वीट्स की श्रृंखलाओं में कहा कि ये सुधार मेक इन इंडिया को प्रोत्साहित करेगा, निर्यात में मदद करेगा और राजस्व को बढ़ाते हुए रोजगार के अवसरों को बढ़ाएगा।  “ वास्तव में राज्यसभा में जीएसटी बिल पारित होने के इस ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर मैं सभी नेताओं और सभी पार्टियों को धन्यवाद करता हूं।  21 वीं सदी के लिए भारत को एक अप्रत्यक्ष कर पद्धति देने के लिए हमारे सांसदों को अवश्य ही उनके इस निर्णय पर बधाई दी जानी चाहिए। एक ऐसी प्रणाली जो सभी भारतीयों को लाभ और एकीकृत राष्ट्रीय बाजार को बढ़ावा देती है, को लागू करने के लिए हम सभी पार्टियों और राज्यों के साथ काम करना जारी रखेंगे। ये सुधार मेक इन इंडिया को प्रोत्साहित करेगा, निर्यात में मदद करेगा और इस प्रकार राजस्व को बढ़ाते हुए रोजगार के अवसरों को बढ़ाएगा। मैं ये जोड़ना चाहूंगा कि जीएसटी सहकारी संघवाद का सबसे अच्छा उदाहरण भी होगा। हम एक साथ भारत को प्रगति की नई ऊंचाइयों पर जाएंगे|”

CM Vasundhara Raje Lays foundation for 14 Projects worth Rs. 2229 Crores

Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that we do not believe in showing dreams but we are expert in fulfilling those dreams. She said state is facing dirt for the last 60 years and now we all have to work on the mission of cleaning this dirt and making Rajasthan a clean and shining state. She said JDA was facing financial crunch when we formed the government but in the last 2.5 years development works of worth Rs. 4,252 crores have been sanctioned and works of worth Rs. 1500 crore have been completed till now. By 2018 Jaipur shall not only become a world class but a wonder city, she said. If we work as a team we will be able to change the scenario of Jaipur city and Rajasthan as well, she added. Smt. Raje was addressing the gathering after laying foundation for 14 projects worth Rs. 2,229 crore including Rejuvenation Project of Dravyavati River here at Birla Auditorium. She also laid foundation through remote for construction of Elevated Road from LIC Building to Sodala, RoB at Sitapura, Dantli and Jahota, Engineering Staff Training Institute, Expansion of Bridge near World Trade Park, Project for Development of 100 parks, Kishanbagh Forestry Project, Galtagate Forestry Project, 200 Bio-Diversity Forest, Silvan Park Phase-2, Global Centre of Excellence, Smart Solution Phase-2, Light House and Shankara Eye Hospital Project. Smt. Raje on this occasion said Dravyavati River was a boon for Jaipur but today it has converted into a polluted nullah. Our government has initiated to bring back the lost grandeur of this life line of Jaipur. She said Jaipur Development Authority, Tata Projects Ltd. and Shanghai Urban Construction Group will complete this ambitious project of rejuvenation worth Rs. 1676 crores. She said 170 MLD waste water would be treated and fall centres will be set up at 100 places for the regular flow of the water throughout the year. She said the adjoining area of the river will be converted into green belt and 16,000 plants would be planted in 66 thousand square meter area. She said Walk-Way, Jogging Park, Commercial Park, Eco-Park, Nature Trail and Floating Park would also be developed in this project. The project is scheduled to complete by 2018. The Chief Minister said the elevated road from LIC building to Sodala will provide corridor for traffic of east and waste. The six lane RoB being constructed in Sitapura, 900 meter long RoB at Dantli and 785 meter long RoB at Jahota will provide relief to people from traffic jam at railway crossing. To provide training to engineers and technical staff of PWD, Water Resource and PHED under one roof work has been taken up to construct Engineering Staff Training Institute, she said. After development of 48 hectare where eco-trail, micro habitat would be constructed the area will increase the beauty of Jaipur, she added. Smt. Raje said the development of Silven Park at Agra road will give the view of central park and enhance the beauty of the surrounding area. Water conservation structures, walking track and poly house will be developed in 103 hectare area. Development of Global Innovation Centre of Excellence shall help in promoting of smart technique for lighting and parking facilities, she said. The Shankara Eye Hospital to be constructed at Vidyadhar Nagar shall provide facility of treatment for BPL families living in nearby area, she added. The Chief Minister on this occasion said on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) the government agencies and people of Jaipur will start mass cleaning drive in Jaipur city. She appealed to the people of Jaipur to come forward and help in this drive to make Jaipur a clean city. She urged citizens to throw waste properly in dustbins and plant more and more trees to keep the city clean and green. The Urban Development Minister Shri Rajpal Singh Shekhawat and Chairman of Tata Group Shri Cyrus Mistry also addressed the function. Higher Education Minister Shri Kalicharan Saraf, Social Justice & Empowerment Minister Shri Arun Chaturvedi, Jaipur MP, MLAs of various constituency and other dignitaries were present in the function.

हज यात्रियों के लिए टीकाकरण शिविर 6 एवं 7 अगस्त 2016 को

राज्य के सभी हज यात्रा 2016 के यात्रियों को जिन्होंने अभी तक  टीकाकरण नहीं करवाया है उनके लिए टीकाकरण शिविर 6 एवं 7 अगस्त को हज हाउस करबला, रामगढ़ मोड़, जयपुर में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। राजस्थान स्टेट हज कमेटी के अधिशाषी अधिकारी डॉ. महमूद अली खान ने बताया कि टीकाकरण से वंचित हज यात्री अपना टीकाकरण शिविर में भाग लेकर टीकाकरण करवा सकते हैं। आरक्षित सूची के हज यात्रियों को पास पोर्ट सहित अन्य आवश्यक दस्तावेज जमा कराने के निर्देश हज यात्रा 2016 के आरक्षित सूची के आवेदको को अपना पास पोर्ट, मेडिकल प्रमाण पत्र एवं अन्य आवश्यक दस्तावेज राज्य स्टेट हज कमेटी करबला में तुरन्त जमा कराने के निर्देश दिये गये हैं। राजस्थान स्टेट हज कमेटी के अधिशाषी अधिकारी डॉ. महमूद अली खान ने बताया कि फेज प्रथम की समाप्ति के पश्चात् खाली रहे स्थानों पर राज्यवार निर्मित आरक्षित सूची के अभ्यर्थियों का नम्बर आने की संभावना है। उन्होंने बताया कि अभ्यर्थियों का नम्बर आने पर वे तुरन्त प्रभाव से निर्धारित राशि जमा करवा दें। उन्होंने बताया कि साथ में पे, इन, स्लिप, भी जमा करवानी होगी।
