Varun Gandhi a new face of Indian Youth - VHP

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) chief Ashok Singhal said Varun is the icon for the youth associated with Hindu groups across the nation. "Varun Gandhi is more charismatic than any other person in politics today and the 25 lakh youths associated with Bajrang Dal are now looking up to him for inspiration," Singhal said. BJP's new poster boy Varun Gandhi is certainly making great strides within the saffron brigade. The Hindu groups have already started projecting him as their youth face vis-a-vis his cousin and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Varun Gandhi enter into politics and catapulted himself to fame and stormed into national politics after his arrest under NSA for his controversial remarks at an election rally in Pilibhit. BJP initially maintained a distance from Varun, only to strongly back him later gauging his popularity among the youth. VHP had stood behind him right from the beginning. Singhal said, "Neither BJP nor any other nationalist organization maintained distance from Varun. His popularity is growing by each passing day and has surpassed even that of Rahul Gandhi, whom Congress is trying to impose on the country as a youth leader."
Varun gandhi has taken short route to becomes a National face in indian politics. He has power and calibur but the way he has taken was wrong, he should present development and other national issue instead of limited to religion.

Shah rukh want to sell Kolkata Knight rider IPL Team !

The continues bad performance and losses in IPL Season 2 by Kolkata Knight Riders make Shah rukh Khan to think about selling team to corporate houses as per rencent news by news channels. Shah Rukh Khan bought KKR on price of Rs 300 crore last year. The business companies with which Red Chillies Entertainment (RCE), KKR’s holding company, discussed in this regard so far were Nokia, Sahara, Anil Ambani Group and some other business houses.
Initially, SRK was interested to sell a stake of his team, but since most of the companies approached wanted management control, SRK had no option but to decide selling of the entire shareholding, according to a business newspaper. SRK’s public relations officer, however, refused to say anything regarding this so real scene will clear after the Shah rukh khan's comment on this news.
The rising cost of the team is believed to have been another e reason for SRK’s recent decision. Khan is supposed to pay Rs 30 crore per year for the next 10 years. The total annual cost for the team is about Rs 75 crore. Khan had earlier said that KKR was easily the most successful IPL franchise, making a Rs 13 crore profit last year, but that was mazic of SRK and Ganguly and now both are over so it is clear that this time KKR will give him lose instead of profit.
Wait and see what shah rukh comment on this news of selling KKR.

BCCI agreed to lift the ban on players associated with the rebel ICL if they severed their links with ICL. BCCI President Shashank Manohar said the decision was taken after some ICL players and their support staff met the Board members and admitted committing mistake by joining the rebel League. Manohar made it clear that the players would not be given any international assignments for a year after they quit the ICL but can immediately start playing in the domestic competition.
The Indian Cricket League (ICL), which boasts of names Brian Lara, Inzamam-ul Haq and Shane Bond in its ranks, was launched by Zee Group owner Subhash Chandra after India's debacle in the ODI World Cup in the West Indies in 2007. But the BCCI, which shortly after came up with the Indian Premier League, refused to recognize the ICL and announced a ban on players associated with the 'rebel' League.
The ICL, which had India's only World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev as the Chairman of its Executive body, made repeated attempts to be authorised by the BCCI and the International Cricket Association only to be turned down on every occasion. The ICC had also refused to entertain ICL application earlier this month. The ICL decided not to stage its 2009 edition after Mumbai terror attacks, citing security reasons.

Chinese Automobole company FAW will use Tata Motors Singur Plant

West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today said a factory to be built on the land in Singur that Tata Motors had abandoned would "generate more employment" than the Nano project. "As you all know, Chinese automobile company FAW (First Automobile Works) has seen the plot. They met me also. They are ready to come to the state at any point of time," Bhattacharjee said in an interview to a regional news channel. "We are keen to use that plot of land for industrial purposes. We have plans to make such a factory over there that will generate more employment than the Tata Nano project," he said.
Global auto major Tata Motors planned to roll out the Nano, the world's cheapest car, from its factory at Singur, 40 km from here in Hooghly district. But from May 2006, when the state government announced the Tata Nano project, Singur turned into a battleground for about two-and-a-half years. The opposition Trinamool Congress led a sustained campaign against land acquisition in Singur, forcing Tata Motors to scrap its plans to bring out the peoples' car, priced at Rs.100,000, from Singur. Tata Motors shifted the project to Sanand in Gujarat as the automobile group was against relocating any of the ancillaries in the integrated project. The chief minister said that the government was now waiting for Tata Motors to return the land in Singur, which they had taken on lease from West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC).

Shoe thrown at PM Manmohan singh at Ahmedabad

After Chidambaram and LK Advani now a man made an attempt to throw a shoe at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at a rally in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The shoe landed a few metres away from the PM's dais. He was addressing an election rally in the city. The youth who attempted to throw shoe at PM was taken away by police. PM has asked police not to file a case against the 28-year-old shoe-thrower.
In the recent past, there have been similar incidents. In one of such attacks, a shoe was hurled at Home Minister P Chidamabaram at a press conference by a journalist. At a rally in Kurukshtra, Congress leader Naveen Jindal was the target of a shoe thrown by a schoolteacher. The shoe missed him. Chief Minister Narendra Modi, known for his innovative ideas, recently at a rally, came up with a unique technique to avoid such attacks. He tied up a volley ball net infront of his dais to prevent any hurled shoe from reaching him.
Now this is looking a new danger for all political parties.

Even 40 percent of the funds for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) were not utilised," Gandhi said at an election rally here, about 320 km from Kolkata.
Gandhi, who came in a helicopter about an hour and a half behind schedule to this tribal-dominated district, was given a cheerful welcome by thousands of supporters of the Congress and its ally Trinamool Congress. Claiming the state government had not managed to give enough work to people in Purulia, he said: "There are 400,000 NREGA cards in Purulia, but only 950 people got 100 days' work."

Delhi handles highest air passengers in India

Delhi has replaced Mumbai as the airport handling the maximum number of air travellers. The latest data collated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) show that during January-March this year, Delhi handled 5.93 million passengers, while Mumbai handled 5.75 million passengers. The data show that Mumbai handled 102,498 fewer international passengers than the 2.06 million international passengers that Delhi handled during January-March. During the period, 3.86 million domestic passengers passed through Delhi while Mumbai handled almost 74,731 fewer passengers.
Industry analysts point out that one reason for Mumbai handling more aircraft despite passenger traffic declining could be because of the smaller variety of aircraft that are operated by several international airlines. “Several of the international airlines from the Gulf and South Asian region operate Code C type of aircraft like the Boeing 737 or Airbus A-320. On an average, these aircraft can carry a maximum of around 180 passengers.

Union Bank bought about 15,000 applications but only 8000 have been sold, with just Rs 10-12 crore booking amount being disbursed. Union Bank told CNN-IBN that Tata Motors will take 15 per cent of the forms back, so the cost of the rest has to be borne by the bank at Rs 300 per form. A malicious software program known as Conficker that many feared would wreak havoc on April 1 is slowly being activated, weeks after being dismissed as a false alarm, security experts said. Conficker, also known as Downadup or Kido, is quietly turning thousands of personal computers into servers of e-mail spam and installing spyware. The worm started spreading late last year, infecting millions of computers and turning them into "slaves" that respond to commands sent from a remote server that effectively controls an army of computers known as a botnet.
Its unidentified creators started using those machines for criminal purposes in recent weeks by loading more malicious software onto a small percentage of computers under their control, said Vincent Weafer, a vice president with Symantec Security Response, the research arm of the world's largest security software maker, Symantec Corp.
Conficker installs a second virus, known as Waledac, that sends out e-mail spam without knowledge of the PC's owner, along with a fake anti-spyware program, Weafer said. The Waledac virus recruits the PCs into a second botnet that has existed for several years and specializes in distributing e-mail spam.
Researchers had feared the network controlled by the Conficker worm might be deployed on April 1 since the worm surfaced last year because it was programed to increase communication attempts from that date. The security industry formed the task force to fight the worm, bringing widespread attention that experts said probably scared off the criminals who command the slave computers. Viruses that turn PCs into slaves exploit weaknesses in Microsoft's Windows operating system. The Conficker worm is especially tricky because it can evade corporate firewalls by passing from an infected machine onto a USB memory stick, then onto another PC. So be ready to fight with conficker.

Microsoft said the RC will be available for download by program developers and IT professionals subscribing to the MSDN and TechNet networks on April 30 and available more on May 5.
The company has still not said when the finished version would begin to be installed on PCs or available to buy in shops, but the company's chief financial officer said on Thursday it could be as early as July. That would allow Microsoft to capitalize on back-to-school sales and set it up for a strong holiday shopping season.
Vista, launched to the public in 2007, was incompatible with some low-power machines and perceived by many to be too complicated. Windows 7, which has been getting good reviews in limited public tests over the last few months, is much cleaner looking and features an array of new touch-screen functions. Congress and BJP Candidate of Nagaur Lok sabha seat

Nagaur Lok sabha Seat:
Nagaur Lok sabha seat covered with seven districts namely Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur. Nagaur is the fifth largest district in Rajasthan with a vast terrain spreading over 17,718 sq. K.M. In 2004 elections, Bhanwar Singh Dangawas of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won from Nagaur Parliamentary constituency defeating Ramraghunath of the Congress party. Bhanwar Singh Dangawas secured 45.08 per cent of the total valid votes, while Ramraghunath got 33.89 per cent votes.
Congress Candidate from Nagaur:
Congress named Jyoti Mirdha as lok sabha candidate for Nagaur Lok sabha Seat in elections 2009. She is a doctor by profession and is the grand daughter of veteran Congress leader Nathuram Mirdha. She is doctor by profession, Jyoti is expected to bring the colour of her grandfather in the Marwar. Party sources feel, she will be able to read the pulse of the voters pretty well, since she is well acquainted with the Congress culture. Her father-in-law Krishna Gehlaut is also a Congress leader in Haryana. So having a long political background she is ready to hit political ground.
BJP Candidate from Nagaur:
The BJP has nominated Bindu Choudhary, who switched from the Congress, against Jyoti Mirdha. She is also jila pramukh of nagaur. Bindu choudhary is the daughter of two time MP, Ram Raghunath. If the Jat votes get divided, then the others will determine the outcome. That would depend on party management of the polls.
Role of Jat votebank:
Nagaur is having around 30-40 % jat votebank. Nagaur is known as the epicentre of Jat politics and the region has great regard for the late Nathuram Mirdha. A legend in the farming community, the late Nathuram Mirdha had served the Nagaur seat for decades and won the seat when the Congress lost most of the seats in north India in 1977. Both of them are Jats, both come from illustrious backgrounds and both have their votebanks. So as jat votebank are divided, development and local issue will play the main role in this election.

Protest against Modern School Delhi for death of Student

Akriti Bhatia, 17, suffered an asthma attack in school three day before died gasping for breath an hour later on her way to a hospital 2km away, the oxygen mask having allegedly been snatched back from her because it was “school property”. The school — one of the capital’s more expensive schools — had failed to call an ambulance or make any effort to take the Class XII student to hospital after she complained of breathlessness. Modern School, Vasant Vihar, informed her parents and waited for the car to come from their Siri Fort home, a 40-minute drive, to take her to the hospital.
Akriti’s father, Vipin Bhatia, has filed an FIR accusing the school of criminal negligence. “Neither was any qualified doctor requisitioned by the school authorities to tend to my daughter nor was an ambulance called for taking her to a hospital or a nursing home for urgent treatment and intervention in those 45 minutes to one hour that proved fatal,” the FIR says. The school principal, Goldy Malhotra, and other staff members have been named in the complaint.
A student who was witness, but requested not to be named, said: “They didn’t even have a nebuliser in school. The nurse used an oxygen mask…. Then when Akriti’s car arrived, the nurse even snatched away the oxygen mask… claiming that it was school property.” Akriti was forced to drink a glass of fresh lime soda and “choked”, the student said. The school denied this.
Principal Malhotra denied negligence. “We don’t agree that there was negligence on our part…. We have a nurse to attend to any medical emergency. We called her parents repeatedly but her mother insisted that she should be sent to her aunt’s house. The school nurse insisted that the child should be taken to hospital,” Malhotra said. But Malhotra accepted that the school had not called an ambulance. The school did not deny either that the oxygen mask had been taken back. The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights issued a notice to the school for allegedly failing to provide timely medical aid.
Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights on Wednesday issued a notice to Modern School, Vasant Vihar for allegedly failing to provide timely medical aid to a girl student who died in the school premises after asthmatic attack. Today akriti's mother visit school and during protest many parents gather in school and blame school for the death of student. Students also join the protest. Current recession is the deepest slump since World War II

With the global economy reeling under recession, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday said world output is projected to decline by 1.3 per cent in 2009, indicating that the slump is the deepest since World War II. However, it is expected to recover only gradually in 2010, growing by 1.9 per cent, the IMF said in its World Economic Outlook report released at its headquarters in Washington. "Achieving this turnaround will depend on stepping up efforts to heal the financial sector, while continuing to support demand with monetary and fiscal easing," it said. The IMF said advanced economies experienced an unprecedented 7.5 per cent decline in real GDP during the fourth quarter of 2008, and the output is estimated to have fall during the first quarter of 2009. It is not only the US which has experienced a sharp downfall, but also other economies of the world too have had the same fate, including the western Europe and advanced Asia, it said. Emerging economies too are suffering badly and contracted four per cent in the fourth quarter in the aggregate.
While there have been some encouraging signs of improvement since the G-20 Summit in London early this month, the report said confidence in financial markets is still low, weighing against the prospects of an early economic recovery. The April 2009 Global Financial Stability Report (GFSR) estimates write-downs on US-originated assets by all financial institutions over 2007-10 will be USD 2.7 trillion, up from the estimate of USD 2.2 trillion in January 2009. This is largely a result of the worsening prospects for economic growth.

"The Sri Lankan government has a responsibility to protect its own citizens. And the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) must stop its barbaric attempt to hold civilians hostage," he said. "There is no military solution to this ongoing humanitarian crisis, and all concerned should recognise this fact," he said.

SEBI charged GHCL with fraud and bars promoters

Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has charged Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd (GHCL) with fraud, saying its top management gave false data on promoter holding. The capital markets regulator has barred the top executives from dealing in securities. “I hereby, by way of ad interim, ex-parte order, direct GHCL, its promoter entities, Sanjay Dalmia, chairman, Ravi Shanker Jalan, managing director, Bhuwneshwar Mishra, company secretary of GHCL not to buy, sell or deal in the securities market until further orders,” Sebi whole-time member KM Abraham said in his 10-page order.
Sebi has found stark variance in the disclosures of promoters holding across the four quarters in the year 2008. In March 2009, the company reported a promoter holding of 18.2 per cent, from 38.3 per cent in December 2008. But the company did not report this fall, as is required by the regulator. “This shows that the promoters have tried to reconcile their wrong holdings reported by them in last four quarters by giving the supposedly correct holding for the March 2009 quarter,” the order said.
Asked about the discrepancy, a GHCL spokesperson said, “We are studying the Sebi order and will reply to Sebi. We cannot comment as the matter is sub-judice.” Among other things, Sebi discovered that GHCL had disclosed that promoters held 10,200,110 shares or 10 per cent of the company’s equity through Carissa Holdings for the quarter ended December 2008, which was approximately six times the actual holdings. By February 16, 2009, the company said Carissa Holdings’ shareholding was 16,06,752 shares or 1.6 per cent of GHCL’s equity.

"I believe in non-violence" - Varun Gandhi

BJP Leader Varun Gandhi on Wednesday filed his nomination from Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency vowing not to hit anyone irrespective of his religion. Chastened after his controversial speeches that landed him in jail and a direction from Supreme Court to maintain restraint, 29-year-old Varun filed his nomination without any fanfare, contrary to the throngs of saffron activists that accompanied him when he surrendered before a court last month that had led to largescale violence.
Accompanied by his mother, the sitting MP from this constituency, Varun later addressed an election meeting saying, “this hand will raise only for defence to protect people not to hit anyone irrespective of whichever religion he belongs to.” “I believe in non-violence. In my whole life I have not killed even a mosquito, let alone human beings,” Gandhi said in his speech. He also alleged that he was humiliated and tortured when he was in jail. “Only I know the humiliation and torture that was meted out to me when I went to the jail... I was denied a mattress to sleep on. I was kept in a barrack where there were even patients of tuberculosis. I was put in isolation so that I get drowned in loneliness,” he said.

Mukherjee's remarks came barely hours after Lalu said it could not be taken for granted that Manmohan Singh was the UPA government's future prime minister.

The Central Secretariat - Khan Market stretch of 2.53 kilometers is actually the longest distance between any two Metro stations under Delhi.

CMP Leader Prakash Karat will be Next PM of India !!!

CMP General Secretary Prakash Karat may be next PM of India, this is not a joke!!. Prakash Karat said on Wednesday he could consider accepting the post of PM under "inevitable circumstances". Now what is definition of "Inevitable Circumstances" that only Karat and God may know. Prakash karat is confident about rise of his power and he said that a non-Congress, non-BJP grouping would emerge as the largest political set up to form the next government at the Center. The Left parties would not support Congress in forming the next government "under any circumstances", he said.
As per Current political situation it is now clear that BJP and Congress, both national parties doesn't have such a power to get full majority in Loksabha election. If all regional parties will play their own political game then that day is not far when Karat, Mayawati, Lalu or Sharad panwar will be PM of India. I newer understand that what these Parties are looking in politics. After taking support from Congress in 2008 for Nuclear Deal, it is clear that they are not interested in national development, they are more interested in their local issue than long term benefits of nation.
