Camel declared New state Animal of Rajasthan. As per press release on 30th June 2014. Camel also known as "Ship of desert" is declared State Animal of Rajasthan. In meeting preservation of Camel and it saving / Formation of Rajasthan Ushtravanshiya Pashu Adhiniyam 2014 is also announced. It will help to ban the slaughter and trafficking of the ‘ship of the desert’ in Rajasthan.  There has been a sharp decline in the number of camels, in the recent past as these are transported to neighboring states such as Uttar Pradesh for slaughter. The camel is a common means of transportation for the local population in the western rajashtan and Thar desert.

RPET 2012 Counselling Process.

STEP 2. Read Option form instruction carefully and fill choice online and save when you are total sure about choice. After save you will get Option form and Challan printout.

Chitraang Murdia from Rajasthan tops IIT JEE advance exam

Rajasthan's Chitraang Murdia has topped the IIT-JEE (Advanced) - 2014 examination. Chitraang, who is from the Delhi zone, scored 334 out of a total of 360 marks. Among the female candidates, Aditi from IIT Roorkee zone has topped the exam securing an all-India Rank of 7. Along with her, there are five female candidates in the top 100. Govind Lohati, a student of Allen Kota, has emerged as the third topper. Amey Gupta, securing AIR 8, is also a student of the same institute.   Srajan Garg is Delhi topper in JEE Advanced 2014. He has secured an ALL India Rank of 21. Karan Jain is 1st in Mumbai in JEE Advanced 2014 with AIR 35. JEE Advanced 2014 exam was conducted on May 25, 2014 by seven zonal IITs.  The IIT JEE advance exams are conducted to secure admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the 16 IITs and the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in Jharkhand. The intake capacity of these institutes is 9,784.

Chitraang Murdia wants to become a researcher, beating all past trends set by JEE students. "I want to get into research either in the field of electronics or computer science. I have an inclination for research and would prefer that over a corporate job," Murdia told PTI. A student of the Delhi Public School, Udaipur, Murdia scored got 97% marks in the CBSE boards. He also took coaching from an institute in Kota.

Gaurav Agrawal from Jaipur tops Civil Services exam 2013

Gaurav Agrawal from Jaipur has secured the first rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2013. The results were declared on Thursday with Munish Sharma coming second and Akshay Tripathi third. Gaurav is a resident of Maharani Farms in Jaipur and was doing his IPS training in Hyderabad. The successful candidates are appointed in Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group 'A' and Group 'B'. Out of total 1122 successful candidates, 517 candidates are from General Category, 326 OBC, 187 SC and 92 are from ST category. The number of vacancies reported by the government to be filled are 1228.
The last step of the Civil Services examination 2013 i.e. the Personality Test interviews were held from April 2014 to June 2014 while the Civil Services Mains examination 2013 was conducted in December 2013 by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Jaipur hottest in 33 years with 46.3 degree C, Mansoon likely to hit Rajasthan by July 1

North India reeled under severe heat wave conditions on Thursday, with Jaipur experiencing the hottest day in 33 years at 46.3 degrees Celsius. In Rajasthan heat wave conditions affected normal life, with Bikaner sizzling at 47.4 degrees Celsius. State capital Jaipur was the hottest since 1981, according to the local MeT office. According to MeT forecast, weather will remain mainly dry in Rajasthan and nothern India this week.

Moreover there one more bad news of delay in Mansoon by two week, which normally enters rajasthan in third week of June. As per IMD data Mansoon is expected to hit rajasthan by 1st July 2014 or first week of July 2014. According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the arrival of south west monsoon in Kerala is delayed and it is likely to enter the state by June 5. "After monsoon sets in Kerala, it takes almost 25 days to reach Rajasthan. We are expecting the pre-monsoon activity by June 20. Monsoon is likely to hit some parts of Rajasthan on July 1 and widespread rain is likely by July 15," predicts Met. The heat wave conditions would continue to prevail in most parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
