Case Against Vasundhara Raje for Deendayal Trust Land scam

Jaipur CJM Court on 9 Jan 2009 ordered tp file a case against Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara in the infamous Deendayal Trust land scam case. Cases will also be registered against eight others as per the court orders. The land scam came into light in 2006 during Vasundhara’s regime when around 7,693 sq mt land was allotted to Deen Dayal Trust at a concessional 5% rate of the then prevailing market price in the Civil Lines area. Because of controversy, the trust decided to return the land to the government.
This time once again Congress is going to take the benefit of this issue in upcoming Election in Rajasthan. As Former BJP CM also raises issues regarding this case which will also creates problems for BJP in Rajasthan.
