Gehlot towards employee friendly

State employees played a major role in bringing down the Gehlot government in the 2003 elections, they are now looking back at him with renewed hope. President of All Rajasthan State Employees Joint Federation, Om Sharma said Gehlot is trying to fulfil his pre-election promises. He said they were hopeful that their major demands, which were included in the manifesto will be addressed.

Gehlot had assured that the government would work for the benefit of employees and all complaints would be addressed. He attributed the strained relations between his government and the employees to misunderstanding. Calling himself employeefriendly, Gehlot said that repeated famines and compulsions of the fifth pay commission prevented him from extending benefits to the employees.
