US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet PM Manmohan Singh and Foreign affairs minister S M Krishna on Monday, to discuss the entire range of bilateral issues. She will also meet the Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Leader of opposition L K Advani. Hillary said the networking of terrorists is a global threat and the problem requires a combined cohesive response from the world. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that Pakistan is housing a syndicate of terrorism and Washington is watching the actions being taken by Islamabad against the scourge. Clinton, who is scheduled to meet the Indian leaders at New Delhi on Monday noted that she realises the syndicate of terrorism in Pakistan is troubling India, besides the US. Talking to reporters at Gurgoan in the outskirts of Delhi on Sunday, she expressed hope that perpetrators of Mumbai attacks will be brought to justice.
Before beginning her meeting with top Indian officials on the last leg of her India visit on Monday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will address a select gathering of students and professors at Delhi University in the morning amidst tight security. Clinton will give a lecture at the Convention Hall in the Old Vice Regal Lodge in Delhi University in North Delhi in the morning. The seating capacity of the Convention Hall is around 700 and invites have been sent to some students to attend the lecture.
