About BYCL: The Sacred Fig Foundation has announced the Brightest Young Climate Leaders Summit. It is a 2 day summit to be held in February 2010 in New Delhi.This summit brings together Young Entrepreneurs with business ideas ,Top business leaders and Government leaders.This is a launch pad for Indian youth leaders and entrepreneurs/social entrepreneurs to participate in the mitigation of the biggest challenge facing us today – climate change. The BYCL aims to provide a platform for young India to receive mentorship, networking, resources and funding to take their entrepreneurial ideas from concept to implementation. It sets of a chain of projects that spin off to make an impact on climate mitigation.It is a pltform for final year students, young professionlas and Entrepreneurs who wish to make a sustainable change in the field of climate change.
As part of this summit, a creative contest is being organized.This is a joint initiative of 350.org and The Sacred Fig Foundation to mark the International day of Climate action on October 24.The contest invites people in the age group of 18-28 to show their creativity towards the cause of climate change in the following ways: Essay, Poster & Collage or Photo album.This is a great chance to win great cash prizes and an opportunity to participate at BYCL.More details can be found on the website given.
