Rajeev Suri appointed new CEO of Nokia Siemens

Global telecommunications services provider Nokia Siemens Networks on Tuesday said it has appointed Rajeev Suri, an Indian citizen, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 1st October. Suri succeeds Simon Beresford-Wylie, who will leave the Nokia Group Executive Board on 30th September. "I am extremely pleased to announce Rajeev's appointment as the CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks," Nokia CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nokia Siemens Networks Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said in a statement. Suri will be based at Nokia Siemens Networks' headquarters in Espoo, Finland. Suri currently leads the services business of Nokia Siemens Networks and has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
